Hello Little Miss Winner and Fay
Lucky - no idea as I don't think he had an inkling until he found the receipt. Maybe he regularly searches my bag.
After all that almost forgot it was payday today. Not that there's anything left after the bills and credit card have been paid. Should've been saving something this month but due to overspending it's had to be diverted. I think I'll say I'll start the savings properly January payday. Have put a third of April holiday money away as the balance has to be paid at the end of January.
Had my eyebrows waxed and tinted after work and thought stuff it and had my nails done as well. The gel polish lasts just over two weeks so will see me through the meals out coming up. I've gone for black glitter which will match everything.
Mr SA still keeping a low profile, it's quite nice actually! I've told him it's the work meal tomorrow but he may have forgotten, hopefully he won't kick off about that. Tough anyway I'm going and that's that, it's not as if I stay out drinking with them, I go straight home after the meal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Mr Lucky thinks I’ll leave him because I deserve someone without all his issues. Wonder if it was something along those lines that made Mr SA check up on you. Pre head injury Mr Lucky probably would have been pilfering my purse .

Phew.......I've caught up - been reading your diary over the last few days on and off between deep cleaning my kitchen.
SA what a journey the last few years have been for you - I'm full of admiration for you - and for Mr SA for keeping going in his own way but mainly for you - caring, earning and keeping going through broken ankles, house renovating, decorating and just everyday life as it is now. How life can change in a split second - shows we need to make the most of it - that's why you deserve your trips out. Enjoy them.
Will pop by more often.January spends - £587.580 -

Thanks ladies.
Milann thanks for reading my very long and very eventful diary. It certainly ended up being a whole lot more interesting than I anticipated! Like you say, you never know what's around the corner, good job really. I bet your kitchen looks fab now!
Lucky - I think he might have spotted the Christmas cards I'd bought in my bag then found the train receipt. No excuse though he shouldn't go through my things. I've neither the time, energy or inclination to cheat on him and have told him this many many times!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Stay out for a drink or three after the meal! Have a lovely time.
I wouldn't make a separate meal for Mr SA every night. Especially if he's done nothing in the house or to prep his dinner. Please note it isn't "helping you": he lives there too!

Kitchen will look a lot better when I've finished - having to pace myself at the moment.... Just the fridge freezer, 1 drawer and cooker hood to do. I could have deep cleaned a couple of complete houses the amount of time it's taken me to do my kitchen.....
Have a lovely time when you go out. You deserve it.January spends - £587.580 -
