Beanie - is way overpriced but that's Ibiza for you. It's a fab place and
I love it but it's not cheap. It's either the scooter or taxis everywhere or not going anywhere but the hotel. Hey ho, it's an expensive job this being disabled lark.
Mr SA watching the Spiderman film, not my cup of tea but he's enjoying it, keeping him quiet.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Suitcases more or less packed. Finances done and CC paid off. Left over aubergine/courgette/red onion in fridge chopped up and roasted, will freeze ready for soup/curry when we get home. Washing basket emptied, two loads dried and ironed. Paid council to pick up old fridge freezer.
All that's left to do is book taxi and (deep breath) go into town tomorrow at Mr SA's request as he "needs" some more slip on canvas shoes. To be honest will need to pick up another €150 to cover scooter hire so would have to go anyway.
Today has been a NSD probably only the 2nd of the month. After the holiday will get back on track with everything - although it will only be about 4 weeks before we're off to Lanzarote. Once we're back from Lanzarote there will be a 6 months holiday-free gap as no further holidays planned until April 2018 - 2018
Have already started putting some ideas for plans in place to:
1. Finally lose that 7lbs I've been on about for ages by sticking to WW points properly, keeping up my walking to work every day and going to the gym 3 times a week at lunchtime.
2. Track and stick to alcohol free days and no spend days.
3. Stick to budgets - no choice but to do this now have mortgage to pay.
4. Try to save £300 per month. Should be do-able if I stick to budgets!
5. Apply for jobs on promotion at work - need the extra money.
I used to be super-organised but have let things slip lately.
I've already gone through my bills and cancelled anything I don't need/use eg Times subscription - I don't get time to read it properly and Mr SA never reads it as he can't be bothered to put his glasses on so a waste of money.
There is enough left in the building works pot to pay for DD's room, our room and floors/decoration of hall, dining room and living room. Will make a start on DD's room when we get back from Ibiza with the aim to finish everything by Christmas.
VSP now holds £547.82.

Absolutely shattered! Been in town with Mr SA for his last minute holiday shop. OMG can he spend!!! £90 in Primark!!! Then we went in TK Maxx for some sunglasses, I was at the till and he disappeared. I had to phone him I couldn't see him anywhere. He was at the till with yet another pair of shoes
I've made it clear to him he must keep these new shoes for holidays or he'll just ruin them by shuffling around the garden in them.
Plus the obligatory coffee (and bacon roll for Mr SA) then lunch (the usual beer and a burger for him) then €150 extra for the scooter. £££££££££
Walked to and from town so Mr SA could go on his scooter as didn't fancy pushing the wheelchair round town. Ankle a bit swollen and sore at the moment done just short of 19,000 steps.
Can't believe this time tomorrow we'll be there.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Thanks Lucky
I don't know why but I always feel down the day before I go on holiday. Don't know what it is, should be on Cloud 9. Probably apprehension, not happy about leaving the dog with DD, hoping there won't be turbulence on the flight, wondering if Mr SA will be ok ....
I'll be fine once I'm on the plane. Not looking forward to getting up at 3am
It will be worth it when we're there before lunch. I can almost taste that sangria - happy days
Will post if I can while we're away, we're in a cheap and cheerful hotel so not sure about the wifi situation.

DD has come in from work with a bottle of champagne for my birthday. Nice thought but unfortunately have to get up at 3am so will have to go in the fridge until I get back home. Not complaining but would have been more thoughtful to put €10 in a card to get myself a drink there. But then my kids don't do thoughtful, they never have - DS has sent cards promising to get me a present when I get back.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
