Happy Birthday Sun.A, and have a great holiday! :j0

Hello all, thanks for all the birthday greetings
Had a fab birthday weekend, some lovely cards and presents and plenty of drinks and food. Day off today, mainly spent decluttering dining room cupboard, long overdue job, bit boring but had to be done. I think Mr SA would've liked to have gone for a coffee but we've spent far too much on food and drinks out this weekend. Back to work tomorrow but only 4 more days then that's me done until 14 September.
Ordered a shed today then that's it no more spending on the garden until next year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Thanks all, hope you have a fab day BM. What a common time of year for birthdays:)
Well that's me finished work until 14 SeptemberThis time next week we'll be in Ibiza. Can't wait but also looking forward to some days off work before we go. Mr SA went to bed an hour ago (on a Friday!!) tired out because we had a shed delivery today. He hasn't done anything - DS is coming tomorrow to set it up.
Hairdressers tomorrow for me, hair is desperate. Will update re finances tomorrow as payday todayneed to square up credit card and VSP has close to a whopping £600 in it!!! Payday bargain of the day - had my eye on a bag in Sainsburys for a while but resisted until today - reduced to £9. Fab!!

Hello all and what a miserable Bank Holiday Monday yesterday. DS didn't appear on Saturday to set the shed up as he was full of cold so you've guessed it - Mr SA couldn't wait to get cracking and I ended up helping him. DS came to do the roof yesterday thankfully despite the rain, so today I've been helping Mr SA finish it off (windows etc). Has been painfully slow progress as he doesn't have a lot of grip in his hands anymore so have spent more time picking up screws than anything else. Just needs painting now and we're going to paint it blue and white striped like a beach hut, got some Cuprinol yesterday from Homebase 2 for £25 or £22.99 each so good deal. So much for getting a few relaxing days off work before holiday.
Have paid off credit card and now have £589.93 in my VSP which I'm determined will have £600 in it before we go on holiday. When we get back home I'm going to have to seriously make a plan re budget and diet. I'm cross with myself that I had plenty of time to get to goal before holiday and didn't really make an effort. Time just ran away with me. Same with budget have gone a bit mad just lately and need to reign it in now before it gets out of hand.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Hello folks! Have hit my VSP target and now have £603.53
At least I can hit one target! I've decided to have one day a month when I concentrate on setting my budget and meal/exercise plan - probably payday or day after, take that day off work and make it my mission for the day and not give in to Mr SA's pleas for coffee trips. I can then revisit it briefly once a week to make sure I'm on track.
We've been in town today last minute holiday shopping, just got a few bits. Have been looking at the weather in Ibiza and I hate to say it but it doesn't look great at the momentThunderstorms and rain for most of the week we're there, with the following week being nice and sunny again (typical). Hope the forecasts aren't as bad as they look, will be gutted.
