working tax and child tax

my working tax and child tax credit has stopped due to my son farther putting in claim as from january the 9 ive not recieved it ,i have to send evidence that cameron lives with me to which he does and always has lived with me ,it is 7 march and im struggling,my wages go on rent and bills and only have 20 pound aweek left to live on for me and my son.i have sent his medical card off but they want more evidence what more evidence can i send as it has to have his address on to where he lives ???? my son can not go to school from today as we have no mony and nursery wont have him as i cant pay so now i am struggling with work as got no one to look after him can any body please help :mad:

ask the school to write you a letter stating the address they hold for him... and the doctors/dentist too

his farther changed his address with school doctors and dentist and i had to change them all back on doing so the school wont do a letter due to child protection new rules ,i have phoned dentist an waiting for letter ,the doctor gave me his medical card which is camerons form of id from birth but need more id,citizens advice have given me my local mp to wright to for help but it will take time to which i dont have time any more as were desperate now

do you receive child benefit>

your ex would be unable to claim this unless you agreed to relinquidh it.
so this should be in your address

yes i receive it ,he tried getting it but they stopped him due to me righting to them didnt need evidence for them but need it for working tax and child tax

he is getting my sons child tax and working tax isnt this fraud though as my son doesnt live with him

he wouldnt be getting your working tax credit, as this is paid for you and not your child.
but if you then arent working 30 hours and they dont thin you have the childm then you wouldnt get it either.

the child benefit you receive is evidence.
have the school sent ANY letters to you at all?
any hospital appointments?

your ex would have needed proof that your son was living with him if he wasnt claiming the child benefit.
what did he use to prove residency?

If you're already getting Child Tax Credit for your child

Someone else might make a claim for a child you're getting Child Tax Credit for. If this happens, the Tax Credit Office may ask you to tell them why you think you have main responsibility for that child.
If you can't agree who should get the Child Tax Credit, the Tax Credit Office will decide for you. You'll still keep getting paid while they make their decision.

when he changed all my sons details addresses ie school doctors dentists they aoutmaticaly changed them ,when i found out i changed them back and when he changed them he used the letters thats wen i found out that he put in claims for working tax and child tax ,iphone working tax and child tax up today and they said the farther getting them ,i explained my son lives with me and explained about his farther changing my sons adresses to claim the benefits so he did have proof but my son does not live with him i told them so now i have ad to change all my sons details again and i have to prove he is with me ,the bonly proof i have so far is his medical certificate i have just e mailed child benefit for a letter with camerons name and address on so i can use that aswell thank you

they didnt carry on paying me they stopped it and put in a full investigation that takes 5 mnths wat are we meant to live on for 5 mnths whil they investigate this is wrong im e mailing chriss ruan mp tomorrow as this shud ave not happened

I didn't think he could claim CTC unless he was in receipt of child benefit for the child?
