Hey everyone,
Not sure if this is window's 8 or my computer - but every time I right click something it freezes - it is really annoying because I want to delete/copy files!
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to stop it?

Normally I'd suggest method 2 here, using ShellExView to see if it's a 3rd party context menu handler, but I'm not sure if it's Win 8 compatible yet?
Had you installed any software around about the time the problem started?0 -
Thanks for your reply - I'll have a look at the link.
Nope, it's new - I haven't installed anything really - only avg, and office and vlc player.

Uninstall VLC player and see if it still happens.0

Just done that (re-installing it now) - it still happens. It's not a huge problem - just frustrating haha

You could try uninstalling AVG, or was it happening before you installed the other programs?0

Im pretty sure it was happening right from the start. Im still getting used to windows 8 (just figured out the other day how to stop zooming in or switching back to the start screen by accident!) so don't know if this is just another windows 8 thing.

Have a read of that first link - These things are usually caused by a corrupt/incompatible 3rd party context menu handler.0

Thanks

Where's the fun if they didn't work properly all the time...
