Failed attempt at being sensitive/considerate

Hang on, your idea of being 'sensitive/considerate/ was to not stare openly at a woman with a body shape you found odd and then to cut her off by walking into her path on a zebra crossing?
I hate to think what you'd have done if you were feeling vindictive today! :rotfl:0 -

And there we have it. Is that why my friend's so nice to me?

Part of me was intrigued and wanted to study her to figure out how to draw her, but I wanted to be polite and not stare, so looked elsewhere.
As the lights changed, and we started across the crossing, a man with a pram moved so that in order to avoid him, I had to cross her path. Being fully aware of her, I crossed about 2 feet in front of her, so we were in no danger of collision, but as we passed, she grumpily muttered "Why don't you look where you're going". Apparently, I would have fared better to stare at her so as not to be accused of not looking!
.
London - I'm totally at a loss at to what this woman looked like! Did she have a fat sticky out belly, like she was pregnant (but not)? Or was it a really hangy-down belly apron?0 -
so you dodged out of the way of someone and inadvertently crossed her path? hun, I bet she tells EVERYONE 'look where you are going'!

Well, you've pinpointed why it was so unusual, I suppose. She definitely didn't look pregnant, but because it was so sticking out rather than sag down, hence the beautiful nearly circular shape from the front, it was unusual.so you dodged out of the way of someone and inadvertently crossed her path? hun, I bet she tells EVERYONE 'look where you are going'!

ROFL. You know, I hadn't considered the possibility that she does it to everyone?
