Failed attempt at being sensitive/considerate

About to cross at a zebra crossing, when I noticed a woman about 5' tall. The most notable feature about her was not that she was very obese, but that she had a very circular 2-2.5' bump that ended about a foot above her knees.

Part of me was intrigued and wanted to study her to figure out how to draw her, but I wanted to be polite and not stare, so looked elsewhere.

As the lights changed, and we started across the crossing, a man with a pram moved so that in order to avoid him, I had to cross her path. Being fully aware of her, I crossed about 2 feet in front of her, so we were in no danger of collision, but as we passed, she grumpily muttered "Why don't you look where you're going". Apparently, I would have fared better to stare at her so as not to be accused of not looking!

Pity you were at a crossing. On the pavement you could have looked till your heart was content.

    Lol. Thank you.

Take away the smile, add legs.

Add an almost perfectly round pink circle slightly wider that the pink person, starting below the chest, ending a foot above the knees.

Why were you waiting for the lights to change on a Zebra Crossing?

Sorry, road crossing with red/green lights, whatever they're called. I can only recall Pegasus Crossing at the moment, but that's the same thing, just with a higher additional button for riders to press.
