Can't see a thread for this on here, so thought we should start one, as after Martin's weekly email with the latest offer, loads of people are going to try this and may have problems.

What is Shop Scan Save?

It is an app that you install on your smartphone.

What might be useful and I found it on the website is to print off the barcode here

and take it with you when you goto the retailer. I had problems at the coop and the Manager said to me they normally send a barcode for us to use.

If you are having trouble finding the locations on your phone that accept this app, try turning on your GPS or email them through Contact Us, there is a web form and they will get back in touch with you.

When you look at your app, click on How To, once you have it opened and scroll down.

You will see something that says

How to earn high value rewards by using offers in NEW STORES.
1. Find 3 paypoint outlets near you that haven't yet redeemed, using the store finder (these are the pins with a GREEN head).

2. Make at least ONE redemption in each of these 3 stores.

*You will earn a high value product worth upto £6, which will appear in your app. The current selection for me is Nescafe Instant coffee 200g or Fairy Non Bio Liquitabs 20 or Bacardi Rum 20cl (over 18s only)

** You will keep getting rewarded for every three new stores you reedem in!

*** and by the way, this reward is in addition to the FREE KIT KAT you earn for every NEW store you redeem in.

These are my offers, not sure if they are the same for everyone.

Thanks Aesop for starting this thread.

I downloaded app last week and have just made my first 'purchase'!

= a free box of maltesers worth £4.80 which is on offer at £3 so cost £0.00........great. Easy to redeem as just showed ID barcode.

I'll try and checkout another 2 stores as per post above.

I had a problem doing this today at nearest Co-Op store. The cashiers tried to scan the ID barcode from my phone two times: both times it took a while to process, and then came back with an error. I had no choice but to leave it. Can anyone help, by any chance? I really really want to redeem this for Mother's Day.

Did you find the help tab on the app ? It has a step by step guide for the shop to follow

Yep, Browntoa, showed them the retailer instructions on the app, which they followed both times. Both times, though, their scanner came up with an error after scanning my ID barcode, so couldn't go further than that.

I've just registered but can't see any offers under my offers? Should it show the initial £3 voucher or kitkat voucher or do you just assume those offers are there please? Also is it the 2 bar or 4 bar kitkat you get free in each new store? Confused.com
