I'm trying to copy some photos to cd. Tried various different programmes including Nero and Canon's own. All I get is insert writable cd to "D" drive. I've tried lots of different CDR disks but it isn't recognising them. They are all new and CDR
Thanks in advance

Most CD drives cope quite happily with -R CDs.
How many discs have you tried (you ocassionally get a bad few in a batch)?:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

Thanks, just tried a few audio cds. When you insert them the disc symbol comes up but there's nothing in "d" drive and they don't play. I put a dvd in and it recognised it.
Yes I've burned cds many times on this machine though not for a while.
I thought the CD-R s were CD and not DVD
Thanks again0 -
This might sound ridiculous, but have you restarted the machine without a disc in the drive?
This, surprisingly, fixes the problem for many, many machines.
Give it a go and let us know
I love adventures. Unfortunately, I don't get to go on them nearly enough. My simple solution? - To indulge in the digital artefacts of the adventures of others. Feel free to indulge in them with me.

Joe, thanks for that. Tried that unfortunately, it hasn't worked this time. When it asks for a disc and I insert one a small disc flashes on the screen then disappears. It must be recognising it initially, but all I get is no disc in drive.
Thanks again0
