Does he want your help though? If not I'd stay clear....and like our parents are for us just make them aware that you are always there for them

He is not the sort to ask outright. He has asked my sister as she still lives at home. The very fact he told us how much debt he was in is an alarm bell in itself as before he has always said it's a secret.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thank you for all the responses peeps, I'm going to post on the debt free wannabe board!:) and see what else I can do, as I sad I am responsible for the food budget andf I do quite well, I'm very frugal, most meals are homecooked leftovers are frozen, We dont go out to eat, I pay my own fuel, All the debt is technically in his name, we dont have a mortgage as we rent, we do have a joint credit card which is £3600 that is included in the total debt I have agreed that I will pay this sum, as for the rest I'm not sure, I thought he only owed £14000 in total as he consolidated all is debt about a year and a half ago???? I have made a list of both our expenditures and incomes, I will have a good look at it in a bit! But thank you all for your advice!
LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT
