Child-proof tops on bottles are a PITA. These inconvenience the majority of us where the minority (parents of young children) are quite capable of putting stuff out of the way of kids! Interesting that boxes of prescription tablets that are lethal to kiddies are sold in blister packs, not at all child proof!

Don't know about the washing liquid bottles, but I have found that cola bottle tops fit nicely on white spirit bottles and the like. Juice bottle tops fit quite well on larger bottles with child proof tops. Saves messing about with those cursed child-proof tops.
