You might consider an Asus Vivobook S400 which gets good reviews.

    and http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B2I6E2W/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=computers

The above are both Windows 8.

The Vivobook s200 is lighter weight, but doesn't go above an i3 processor.

Seems the consensus is that this is a good deal

Getting ready to pull the trigger the only thing holding me back is I do not really need a laptop until mid June

I am just wondering if in that 6 weeks another model comes up that has a better screen/spec for similar money

Only just noticed you are in Cyprus

Are you a fellow Greek Cypriot or an ex-pat or connected to the Military?

That's near Limassol? I'm quite a bit away on the north coast, much quieter up here. :) We shied away from the busy towns, although nice to go into them once in a while for a spot of shopping and a bit more excitement. :D

Have you made up your mind whether to buy or not yet?

Glad that you are sorted out, am sure it will be a great buy, and I don't think that you will get anything in that class, near that price. Had considered getting one a few months back, but the price at the time was over my budget, would definitely have gone for it now, if I was on the market looking for something.
