switching broadband providers - keep email address?

I'm thinking of switching broadband providers, moving from talktalk to EE. Like most people, I have my email address logged in many different places. I would like to keep my tiscali (talk talk) address after I switch. Am I able to do so and continue to manage my mail via windows mail? I do not wish to use web mail.

To late now :-( but set up a domain name with forwarding and you never have to worry about ISP changes again :-)

It'd be nice if ISPs offered the choice to redirect all of your mail for x months, even for a fee. That'd give you the ability to change your addresses everywhere. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

I've still got pop3 access to mails from btinternet even though I left them 7 years ago.
Same with pipex (now talktalk). I think they just forget to delete them.0 -
It takes a few minutes only to sign up to Gmail and then you are ISP-independent forever. No free lunch, and no free laptop
