I applied for Loyds 21 months balance transfer card online and got accepted but application crashed on the balance transfer page and didn't allow me to go back.
I spoke to various teams in Loyds and they can't help much, only thing they've offered is to remove the credit search record that will take 5 days. They're also suggesting to apply again over telephone but that will do another credit search.
I'm confused now, shall i wait 5 days so that credit search record is removed or apply via telephone again now? I can't wait long as i've to do balance transfer by end of this month, please advise.
Thanks

Best to wait it out for a while.0

Depends if you have any other credit searches in the last 6 months. If not, just complete the application over the phone and then get them to remove the search
If you will need to make further applications in the next 6 months, make sure the search is definitely removed first0 -
I haven't done any searches in last 2 years, have got just 2 credit cards and my rating on noddle is 4/5. So i think it won't make a huge difference if i wait 5 days better to apply today?0

Forget about Noddle and their silly 4/5 scores as lloyds searches Experian.
Check your credit files on Experian.0 -
If you wait for a week you may receive the card or documentation if it said it went through. Then you could contact Lloyds, ask them to remove the search and apply again a week later.0

I already checked with Lloyds they can see application is accepted but nothing after that, according to them this application is in limbo and they can't do much about it, how weird.0

I've just generated credit report on experian and its showing my score as 869. I'm surprised it doesn't hold all the credit accounts i've and also my current address is still wrong, even the electoral information is from the old address, is this what the bank sees?0

oh 869 is low, they tend to like giving people 999Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

does lender see credit search record straight away, if they can't then isn't it better to apply for another card right now instead of waiting 7 days?
Also my first application was accepted so i believe, even if they can see it shouldn't be a negative thing?0 -

Yes, they will see a search straight away
The outcome of the application isn't relevant in the short term. Only the recorded search. Longer term a lender could deduce that you were either rejected or declined to take up an agreement following a search0
