No, the engine management light doesn't come on when there is the problem with the turbo, the light only comes on when I get the error message. Could the error message & turbo problem be linked even though the error doesn't show up when the turbo isn't working?

I'd say 70% of the fuel we get is from Sainsburys. Does it make a difference where you get the fuel from?

My local Morrisons have has misfuelling's more often that anywhere else i have heard of. Around here anyway.

Electronic throttle? If the lambda sensors are picking up a bad signal or its out of range then it maybe cutting power, So it feels like the turbo is not working but really its in a low power mode to get you home rather than cutting out and leaving you stranded.
