Sky Sports on Android phone anyone?

I've been tempted by an offer to get Sky Sports on my android phone for £4.99 a month. Has anyone any experience of this? Seems like a great deal for a non-Sky subscriber like myself.

I'm currently on a HTC Desire HD, but getting a HTC One when they come out in a week or so.


Concerned about data usage (though will mainly use it in the home where I'm on Wifi to protect my data allowance) but any advice greatly appreciated.

If its the same as sky go just require a decent handset screen and good bandwidhth and its worth it.

First of all make sure your phone is on the list of supported phones as most of the newer phones such as the Nexus 4 are incompatible. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nxp.sky.skysportstv.google

Yes, thanks DodgyDave. I noticed the new HTC One isn't out yet, so emailed the developers who said they didn't know if and when it would be supported. Pah. Guess I'm back to scrounging invites to others' houses for the big matches
