Harrassment by 3 - mistaken identity

Last year (around October time), we were plagued by 3 ringing us, asking to speak to a person who has never lived here - the local store rang us after a few weeks of this, demanding to speak to this woman. I put them straight and said that she has never lived here - and the calls stopped.

Suddenly in the last week the calls have started again, 3 or 4 a day, leaving numerous messages on our answerphone. I have spoken to them repeatedly, telling them she does not live here and never has (but am I SURE I've never had a lodger?! :mad: ) Today I have found an email contact on their website but since doing that I've had another 2 calls from them. I know that won't work instantly but has anyone got any idea what I can do next?

Email them:

"I inform you that I wish Three and any agents or assignees to stop calling my telephone number 01234 567890 under The Protection From Harassment Act 1997. I am finding the frequency and number of calls to be distressing and will contact the Police if you persist.

I also withdraw the implied right for anyone from Three or their agents or assignees to visit my property."

Thank you very much! MY husband found another form to fill in on thier website, which he did- about 10 minutes ago they phoned us and agreed they would take our details off thier records - but they have been saying that form the start so I'm not holding my breath. Then I got an email from them saying that under Data Protection they couldn't tell me who the account holder is - but if I contact them and ask them to add my details to their account they can deal with me! Hmmmm!

Well - we got in yesterday evening - to find another 2 calls and messages on our answerphone for this woman!

I am at a loss what to do next - nothing seems to be working - I am waiting for this afternoon's calls and will ask to speak to a supervisor - not that it will achieve anything! Useless, useless 3 - if ever I was tempted to go to them for a contract - I have had my eyes well and truly opened now!
