Hmmm, that's odd. In my account (under orders), to the right of View Details, there's a Request Refund column. I had an order delivered this morning & requested a refund an hour or so ago.

It doesn't show up until the order is marked as delivered, sometimes that is very quickly after, sometimes a few hours. Maybe look again later might be they only update after the end of your booked 'slot' which as you say was all day.

Thank you both, I'll have another look this evening. Always good to find out something new. Been shopping online with Asda for 4 years and never knew I could request a refund online. I did email a couple of months ago to complain about always getting short dated milk, I always buy 12pts a time to last the week and they are always use by within about 4 days

Very poor of Asda to behave in this way. Surely if they just got the orders correct then the CS department wouldn't be so worried about the complaint %.

I have used most of the big supermarkets for home shopping and Asda were, by far, the worst for giving products close to end of life and for substitutions to my order.

We usually email them via their website contact form if there are any issues. Quick and easy and the refund is processed within a couple of days.

I don't know about other supermarkets (not tried their home delivery services yet) but I'd agree with that statement - dates of products are often very close to the order delivery date.

I only used them a few times. I accept that mistakes happen, but, we're vegetarians and I found the fact that veggy items like quorn mince and quorn pieces were being replaced by beef mince and chicken pieces a bit much to be honest.
