Your mothers refund from the AA aill take over 3weeks. i cancelled a breakdown policy on the 13th feb, and was advised to allow 21 days....
i called yesterday, to be advised the refund was processed yesterday, and i will have the money in my account thursday/friday.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -

It was Streamline but back in the days of it being an RBS owned operation and they had no live clients at the time. They may well have changed things over the years since I was involved in it and post sale0 -

Think is she after the renewal date on my advice to confirm that she wasn’t going to renew. I was surprised they hadn’t been straight on the phone wanting new payment information. Turns out they contacted the bank and asked for them and then the bank gave them over!
Can an insurer (or anyone else in any other business) do this? Should a bank have provided them her details?
So she now has a policy she doesn’t want and insurer she is miffed with and can get cheaper elsewhere.
