Hi there
I've recently found out I was missold PPI for a car loan in 2004.
On my bank statement I was paying to Lombard North Cent but have no idea how to contact them as I have read they have been sold to other companies.
Can anyone shed some light on how I should go ahead with the claim?
Thanks
Aaron

You need to go to the dealer that you purchased the car from to put the claim in.0

Car dealers were not regulated until January 2005. Anything before that, game over.0

My Hubby won a claim from a dealer from 2004, why did they not come back and say they were not regulated?.
You are correct in what you say, but some pay up while others use the
" we were not regulated " crock.0 -
Hi- can anyone help me with Lombard North Central? We took out a loan in 1987 and still have the paperwork that shows PPI on it (yep, 1987 - I'm a hoarder!!!). Does anyone know who has taken them over? I've seen the posts above but they refer to car purchases, we had the loan for furniture. Many thanks!!0
-
Car or furniture, the same would apply. If the dealer sold you the loan (and PPI) then you complain to the dealer.0
-
Thanks societys child. The furniture was from MFI but we went to Lombard for the money to buy the furniture. The loan wasn't arranged through MFI. Lombard do you think?0
-
Yes, if you got the loan directly from Lombard and they sold you the PPI.
You just need valid reasons why you believe it was missold.0 -
I sent Lombard an SAR a while back and received a raft of info back which I have acted upon.
However, I have since found a bank statement from way back in 1995 that shows a direct debit to Lombard North Cent. There was no information regarding this loan included in the SAR response from Lombard.
How do I go about tackling this issue with them?Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain.
You can be a king or a street sweeper, but sooner or later everybody dances with The Reaper0
