Back from the Nurse who took an armfull of blood, BP is high for the first time in my life but don't know why.
Took some chicken thighs out of the freezer for dinner but mind is a blank as to what to do with them, any ideas ??
Got DD's and our washing done and hung outside as it's sunny here.
DH has taken DGD2 down to the park to give me time to get some ironing done and vacume through.

Morning everyone (just). It's a lovely blue sky day here and not too nippy either! Hugs to all those who would like/want one. Well after yesterday's mammoth typing there is nobody around for me to ask for more work.... Shame as I need the money,. Anyway, decided to tackle the hedging. Have made a small inroad but really need (a) the hedge trimmers (you can only do so much with loppers) - whch OH took to the other house and never brought back and (b) the new saws for the cherry tree - which are still in the back of OH's car.... So I have had to admit defeat. However the bit I have done has let a lot more light into the garden......Plus I don't want to set my SOD off (sphincter of odi) and I can feel it "twinging"...... So I will be planting up the rest of the bulbs I think to get them out of the way and then I might have a go at sorting out the plastic trays/cartons under the kitchen work block to see what I can (a) chuck and (b) use for seeds..... Dinner tonight is the rest of the bol with HM wedges and as the oven is on I'll do a tray of blueberry muffins as well! OH is spoiled.....But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0

Afternoon All
Glorious here today, bright, sunny and dare I say it, warm in the sunand 2 loads of washing are on the line.
I have been to town for some bits in Wilkinson's and had to pick up a prescription. Lo and behold my testing book had miraculously appeared, at least I have it back now. Plus the doctor has put the testing strips and lances on repeat, honestly the nurse that I have to see is ditzy to say the least.
I am going to prepare all of my seed trays this afternoon and have a general clean up in the garden
halight, glad that you had a better night's sleep, shame that you were woken though. LW's pep talk seems to have worked, let us know how you get on at the doctor's nag nag naggedy nag
Oh well of to make the most of this weather

Afternoon everybody, hope everyone is ok.Just had hm chicken soup for my dinner and I'm going to go out in the garden shortly-its lovely here, bit nippy but I'll soon get warm if I get digging and planting.I think this is the first time I've posted since before weekend, just seems to be hectic.
I went to a wedding show at the NEC on Sat with DS2,DiL2B and her mum,and really enjoyed it,loads of different stands.Anyway I think it looks like they are going to get married abroad in early summer 2015,which sounds a long time off but I'm sure it'll fly by,all need to get saving now.In true Osfashion we took a packed lunch but did buy a drink later on,£18 for 4 tea/coffees and a biscuit  which I bought as her mum drove us down and wouldnt accept any petrol money.
More chicken for tea later and DGD is coming.Right better get in this sun while it lasts.Hugs to anyone who needs one.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Hi, everyone.
Goodness you've all been busy little bees today. I can safely say that as I have also indulged in a little unaccustomed housework. I woke up this morning and realised that on Friday I have a friend and her sister coming for the day. Now the friend shares my own opinion of moving dust from one place to another, but her sister is more than slightly OCD and I'm afraid that if she sees my place as it is now she might set about me a la TV programme.
Why I should spend the morning producing a show-room shower I can't imagine. Friend's sister is hardly likely to mount the stairs to inspect my shower-room. However, it looks absolutely beautiful and the Rev needn't think she is going to mess it up by actually using it.
I'm out tomorrow so on Thursday I have to tackle downstairs, which probably will be inspected. Ooo-er!
Let me add my voice to the chorus Halight. Don't do as I do, do as I tell you. SEE THE DOCTOR. I know you've made the appointment, now make sure you keep it.
Fast day today - whoopee. 8 weeks on and I have effortlessly shed 10lbs. Only another 4 stone to go. The Rev, who has shedloads more to lose than me, has lost over 21lbs and is over the moon. She also finds it easy, which is some sort of miracle.
Enjoy your evening.

Afternoon all,:j:j
Well What a lovely sunny day its been here:j:j
Done the Jobs that needed doing with my dad. this afternoon Iv been sat out In the sun, Reading:T:T
It been quite hot here. Iv been down to a t-shirt for most of the afternoon. its gone quite chilly here now. But Iv been glad of the sun this afternoon. I always find a bit of sun can make you feel loads better.
After doing this morning Jobs my wrist was killing me. But Iv rested it all afternoon and id don't feel too bad at the moment. I think my wife right, Its something to do with the tendon. I shall be asking the doctor about it. Iv only had the trouble since Saturday and I;m already fed up with it.
I Did to start with think that the wrist problem was in some way connected with the steroids that they have me on. Them things can cause all sorts of problems. But I don't now.
It is the steroids that are affecting my sleep. I do need something off the doctors to help that. i don't what sleeping to become a long team problem, As habits like that can be very hard to break.
Part of the trouble is. That Since iv been taking them most days In the day time I feel on top of the world.:D Some days Iv felt better than I have done in years! , Trouble is I know its not real. Its the tablets that are making me feel well, Not that I am well.
I still ahve no news about going In. I'm going to have a word with my GP. To see if he can get some sort of time scale out of them. I know they are busy. But still.
Tonight we are going to have some steak. Chopped up and cooked with Mushrooms,Garlic, peppers,Leek and onion. All with a tin of Tom's Served with Rice.
Well I hope that you all enjoy your evening .
:j:j:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

Evening all
Just about to go off to darts - I'm not as good as I used to be but I hang in thereFirst time the team is meeting up since our pub closed last week - not sure what the arrangements are for next week when it is a home game....
Halight Glad you're going to the docs - I had tendonitis nearly 3 years ago and kept putting it off - ended up in a splint and signed off work for 6 weeks, not fun - especially as it was my "main" hand, I couldn't even lift a kettle!
Work still annoying at the moment, boss is in "picky" mode - I wish he's just let me get on with it to be honest, never mind, it's a job (as I keep telling myself).
Had leftover chilli, cheese and soured cream pittas for lunch today, very nice - no tea tonight as should get food at darts, very moneysaving!0 -
good! sounds to me like you have got tendonitis, I've had it and you need to rest it properly
That's what my wife thinks it might be.
Trouble is I have been trying to rest it. But the last few days Iv also been doing Jobs that I really should not be doing with it.,
Tomorrow is a day of rest!:j:j
Very little on.:j:j:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0
