I like Thompson and Morgan, although they tend to be a bit more expensive you tend to get some good discounted extras - there's 25% off until tomorrow nightThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

D T Brown are also quite cheap when you consider they include free delivery, for the armchair buying option. I thought Mr Fothergill was also free delivery but see they charge 95p.
I have bought from ebay shops before, but they use little plastic bags. I am a sucker for the paper packets with a nice picture on them, then when I never get round to sowing the seeds, at least I have enjoyed looking at the packet and thinking I will sow them!:D0 -
If you haven't spotted this in Martins newsletter, limited quantities.
Active deals! incl £10ish garden seed bundles for £2"We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

When you're trying to decide which seeds to buy isn't it better to grow the things which would cost you the most when bought from the shops.
That is my viewpoint. I grow impossible to buy kinds of chillis and cherry tomatoes, and this year I have planted rhubarb, raspberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants, and some beetroot and salsify will go in as it should be easy to grow. I am tempted by Jerusalem Artichoke (potato like) but space is limited. I also planted a Quince tree and a Medlar tree, I have only once seen fresh Quince in the shops, and I have never seen Medlar.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0 -
A local Hiller garden centre had Unwins seeds half price, and Conkers near Basingstoke had Johnsons seeds half price, no idea why, but if you want branded seeds at a good price, it is worth popping in to a garden centre if you drive that way. I got wild flower seeds half price, which pleased me.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

I was in the 99p shop the other day...
They do a flower 'collection' type pack...the packet says (for some reason) 'three in one' but when I read the back it listed thirteen types of seed (together with the quantities)
At 99p, worth a punt?

eBay has a plentiful number of seed sellers.
Just search for the seeds you're after, sort by price including p&p, filter but it now only.0 -
Aldi had a selection last night for 39p, best before 2015. I bought giant pumpkin seeds and a "fragrant mix" packet. I can remember seeing parsley, green peppers, carrots, basil, purple sprouting broccoli, cucumbers and corgettes.
I was lurking on this thread yesterday and bought the £2 herb and vegetable parkdeal bundle, plus extra parsley and night scented stock for £3.99 inc postage.0
