Has anyone had any dealings with them?
I applied for a contract on Sunday, got an email 20 mins later saying that i had been successful and would receive another email confirming dispatch. I then later that night received another confirming it was leaving the warehouse with Royal Mail, and that i would receive it today.
Today i came home from work to no phone, so i phoned and the girl confirmed to me that my order had been accepted and had been dispatched at 5.03 last night (the time the email was sent) and that she would request a tracking number which could take up to 48 hours. I have since received an email more than 24 hours after it was supposedly dispatched saying that due to a routine check they cannot proceed with my order!!! Why would she not know this when i phoned, why would she say it had been dispatched???

Yes i have , last Wednesday/Thursday.
I too had an email informing that another two were to follow, however when I returned home there was an email sent at 2330 informing that the handset had been dispatched.
I called them the on the Thursday and the rep informed that the handset had been dispatched at 2000hrs and that I should recieve the handset by 1300hrs, low and behold as I cleared the call the door bell rang and it was the nice man from royal mail with my handset.0 -
Yes but after being told it was dispatched, i received another email saying they had done further checks and that my order couldn't be processed. No phone today so not sure what's going on.0

Sounds then like you got the 1st email prematurely, I didn't get the 2nd email but the 1st one did say along the lines of
[FONT="]Thank you for choosing Phones 4u. Your order is currently being processed.[/FONT]
[FONT="]What happens next?[/FONT]- [FONT="]All pay monthly contract phone orders will shortly be processed through a credit check.[/FONT]

[/FONT]I suspect your 1st email was similar wording to mine, so the further checks would have to be completed and satisfactory before the final email confirming dispatch.0 -
no i got those exact same emails you have put up, advisor today confirmed dispatch. Then about 2 hours got this
Thank you for shopping at Phones 4u. During one of our standard checks, we've detected a problem with your request that has meant we are unable to process your order. There are a number of reasons why this happens; including something as simple as a typing error on the application form
My point is, how could i get this after an email and phone call confirms dispatch.0
