    Because unlike you I read the OP.;)

    And I think you lost your sense of humour about that time, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I'm with you Mrs chauser:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    My apologies to the op, I was reading another post about a big guy who wanted a big bed in a small space, mixed to 2 up:o:o:o

    But any way stuff Pythagorus, build the bed in situ, you have no choice;);)
    I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

    Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

    Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Hi
    In asnwer to the earlier question - I have an extra 5cm above the boxed in pipes which are boxed in behind the skirting board.

    The previous comments amused me. Just to clarify though
    -the bed is a small single
    -I am a she:p
    -the bed is for my 10 year old daughter. She had a divan before which i got from a local shop and they supplied me with a base that would normally have a pull-out bed underneath. However they made it without this bit leaving a cavity for daughters[STRIKE] junk [/STRIKE] toys!

    However this broke - I think due to the weakness caused by the cavity. So I now want to get something else that will allow us to put storage boxes underneath. (dont want a divan with drawers as storage boxes are a much bettter way for her to store her stuff)

    The alternatives are a bedframe (always longer than divan - hence the issue with space) or an ottoman - much more expensive.
