Hi

My o2 contract is ending next month currently on o2600 with an avergae bill of £47

I have an iPhone 4s which I love but considering changing if there is something brilliant out there.

My money saving head says to maybe move over to SIM only but my greedy head says get a new smartphone

I see three have a really good deal for £12.90 a month sim only

Will the 3 sim card work in iphone or will it cost more?

Secondly does anyone know or any other great deals around?

Thanks :)

Welcome to the board but have a read of your post,
You have a handset from O2, so check if it is sim unlocked to use anyprovider sim card in there, otherwise the sim only deals on other than O2 may not work in your phone.
A great deal to one subscriber is a rubbish deal to another, it's not a case of one size fits all.

Which one? Unless you want 'All-you-can-eat data', I see 600m+1Gb for £9.90.
And don't forget to check quidco/TCB.

I don't see any special prices for micro sim cards, and you are given an opportunity to select any size when ordering.

You have to say what you want or need.

ETA: and beware, it's the minimum term is ending, not the contract. 30 day notice is required to end the contract.

Thanks for the replies guys & girls

I should have really stated what I needed from a deal sorry

I wouldn't need anymore than 300mins a month, with around 1000 texts but do use on average 750mb-1Gb data at the moment. Thats why I thought the 3 deal would be good with the all you can eat data.

I take it the only wayto check if my phones unlocked is to stick a different sim in it?

Unless you've bought it directly from Apple it's almost certainly locked.
The good news is that O2 do unlocking fast and for free:
