Hi all - lovely sunshine in Concrete Cow Country; I set the WM up overnight to wash a load of Mr LW's jeans, and he hung them outside before he left for work:A I'll have to pop outside in a bit and see if they're dry.:o
Betheebee GWS vibes for your DGD - clucky-pox sounds nasty; I have no idea if I've ever had it myself, so forgive me if I don't (((HUG))) the little lass.;)I don't know what or how Iv done it. Its all swollen up, And very painful.
Iv got a tube a grip on it. I wrote a bit about yesterday afternoon on the daily.
My wife thinks its something to do with the tendon. What you've described with your wrist sounds much like I have with both mine (the left is worst, and of course I'm left-handed) When I was seeing the physio-terrorist, Carpal Tunnel was mentioned, though she gave me no help on what to do about it - I'm currently using the wrist-splints I had donkeys years ago when my wrists first did this sort of thing, and I was using a keyboard for 7.5 hours a day. Maybe your GP would be more helpful than the medical bods here.
OK look, if you don't go, I shall have to frog-march you there myself, which will require the help of another OSer - any volunteers?
Basically the idea is I immobilise Halight and park him on my lap in my wheelchair, and another OSer pushes said wheelchair to Halight's GP. Any takers?:D:D:D:D:D Or is this threat enough for Halight to go under his own steam?:DThe jobs I hate doing aree: peeling spuds (dont mind other veg !) getting washing in (love hanging it out) putting the duvet cover on, picking up the dog poo, luckily OH is very good and will do all of these, he just needs reminding sometimesIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Lovely and bright here as well, still a bit chilly though, but washing is on the line, I really had to search to fill the machine up.
Doctors this morning for another blood and wee test and then we went to Asda to get a few bits, lemon tea, coffee, cheese etc malted wheats have gone up to £1.68 from £1  they stayed on the shelf  Bloomin' heck their prices are really getting steep.  I usually buy a few packs of instant custard, but the tinned is the same price so I bought that instead. We also spotted the new jars of honey and chocolate spread which have been put out side by side with the old ones and the size difference is really noticeable, they think that we are thick:mad: Pah we are OS of course we notice
Thank goodness we don't buy all of our shopping in there any more. back to Aldi on Wednesday, because the car is in for her MOT on ThursdayDon't think she will go through, so more money to fork out
Then the car tax at the end of the month, which has gone up as per usual :mad:
Rant over ..........you can come out from behind your cushions now
Moon phase planting at the weekend so lots of seeds to pot up, probably rain now :rotfl:

Afternoon all
LW, I'll help you kidnap Halight & drag him to the Doctors.
Bargain Bird, nice to see you posting
Hugs to Molly
Hubby emailed me at work today to list all the seeds he's planted, I did wonder how he'd managed to get so many seed trays in the back bedroom, turns out he's filled the front bedroom as well. I did suggest he used the front room a few weeks ago, but I meant instead of the back room, not as well, lol.
Still I'm not going to complain, he keeps us in veg for months.
Very busy at work today, my feet ache from all the rushing about, I'm going to put them up & have cuppa & do some more crochet.
Hugs Hester

Hello everybod - late to the party for me today as busy at work - on a Monday:eek:.... Wow. I am a very happy bunny. As a result however the wardrobe cull remains undone and the garden remains untended with the hedges still like a rainforest. Maybe tomorrow..... Apart from that not much to report. We have decided not to laminate the floor of the other house but to have carpet throughout as the floor just isn't even enough and we've really tried but after another failed attempt yesterday it just isn't lying flat. So that's a bit of pressure off us as we need to get it re-let asap and just have a fire to install, a full clean, decorate and carpet. Just got to find a good storage facility now for the stuff we have been storing up there.....
Spag Bol for dinner with enough bol to ensure we can have it with HM wedges tomorrow. Saturday night we went to see a comedian at The Lowry. We've seen him before but we were pleased we only paid £12 to see him. We are getting increasingly annoyed at ticket prices for things; that said we have bought tickets for another couple of productions but seeing as I have knitted some of the set for one (I say "knitted", I did finger knitting and wove some of the backdrop as what they really wanted - leaves, icicles, body organs was a bit beyond me :rotfl:) I think we should go and see it. Plus buying the tickets when we were there saved £2 per ticket booking fee  I hate booking fees. Right I hope to have a rather uneventful evening - no news yet on the medication situation. I really despair how anything gets done in "land of medical-ness"...... I didn't think things could get worse when I left the NHS in 2008. How wrong I was....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
Huh DS has just come in and moaned that my music is on too loud
tough boobies :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I am going to start singing now heeheehee

Well, the house is still a tip!
Talked the GP into signing me off after this 2 week line, so decided to take it to work and talk to my manager about my outstanding holidays and phased return, she wasn't in, but had a blether with the staff. Will phone her after I've been to occupational health on Thursday. Detoured to visit my cousins wife on the way home, then popped in to see mum. Finally home, and have a leftover chicken and chorizo stew in the pot for DD coming home from work. So the mess will wait until another day!RIP Iain
