O/S Daily Monday 04 March This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!

As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well”

Coffee. bacon and eggs anyone ??

This is the second time im awake tonight.
First was 1:30, I came down stairs. I had gone to bed at about 10:00.
I was only awake for about 20 mins that time. Iv been asleep in my chair.
Not long woke up and Im wide awake now!

Off to have a potter about for a bit.

Chilly outside this morning. Iv Just let the cats out.

plan for today is tidying up at home. The place looks like tornado has been though it .

Also I'm off to the local tip with my Dad later on.

This morning. My wrist still hurts bad, But I think some of the swelling has gone down. Will see how it goes as I use it today.

Today Girlies to school, then me a DS have a mammoth list of things to do :cool:.

Tea tonight Lamb shanky things, with pots n peas all in SC already (DH did it last night :T).

Good morning everyone

Early morning visit as am getting ready for work. Can't believe the weekend has flown over already. Still have a sore throat and headache so hope today brings some relief from that.

Freezer meal plan for the week is done and we had smoked salmon pasta last night and lamb curry was made for tonight. It's in the slow cooker now, so just have to cook the rice when we get home. Soup and rolls for lunch.

No Oxfam trip this weekend so the bags are still in the hall and I will take them in the week, if I get a chance. DH has agreed to start sorting "his" books out, so that should fill a shop or two!

Better get going, so will leave with usual well wishes for all sick
people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep warm and safe and have a super day

morningall hope your wrist gets better halight.couldnt sleep dog neededout for toilet so of course came to me to tell me lol. sitting having a coffee bitofwashing and general tidy up planned for today, got sausage casserole i slow cooker for tea tonight andmash and veg, so not too heavy aday today. hope it stays dry. have a lovely day all. xxx

Thanks for the offer of the bacon and eggs but its too early for me to even think about eating. Coffee sounds good though, so thanks.

Just seen hubby off to work moaning all the way.

Son is in the shower, he's off to college today.

Girls havent woke me up yet but it wont be long.

Daughter number 1 sent me a message on Whatsapp. She is two hours in front of us here in the UK.

I don't know what or how Iv done it. Its all swollen up, And very painful.

Iv got a tube a grip on it. I wrote a bit about yesterday afternoon on the daily.
My wife thinks its something to do with the tendon.

Morning all
Hubby's on the late shift today, so he's still in bed.
Very frosty out this morning I need to scrape the car windscreen in a sec.
No cooking for me this week, the freezer is full of HM ready meals for lunches, I'll have beans or egg on toast when I get home.
We were short staffed last week so I did loads of extra duties, I wonder what this week will bring.

Good Morning all well a bit frosty this morning and the garden is white again.When is that sun coming.
I have knitting club this morning then some food shopping to do, hopefully I'll only buy essentials as I am intending to try and only shop around once every yen days or so.I have a small list of bits to get as will all plans when it comes to shopping it could all go wrong if I get tempted :)
Right I'm off to try some new coffee that my DGS got for me its supposed to have a flavour of coconut in it .He gets all sorts of different flavours from work which is nice as some of the researchers there aren't keen on flavoured coffee which comes in packs from the suppliers.They usually get binned so Dan snaffles it for his Gran as he knows I hate to see anything binned.He is in Elstree in the studios this week so he is staying at his other Gran's in London to save himself such a long journey from Kent .Very canny young man that one
