18 months ago I was rejected by all. Applied for luma card and got £1500. I wanted a Rewards card as I do a lot of shopping / fueling car. so Had to stick with Luma for 10 months or so then applied for Barclays Freedom card. 5k limit and now 6months later its 7k. Never really spend a lot on it but I have recently used the 0% offer on cash to put into my 4% lloyds account :). quite happy now considering my low wage living in cornwall <15k :(, Its making me money and I pay off in full every month :)

I have a £150 limit on it for 6 months now
I never use the full £150 and I always pay off in full every month.
    Credit limit has never increased!
My Aqua Card has a £1,800 Credit limit on it.
I cant understand why Barclays wont budge.

6 months is nothing in the eyes of Barclaycard....probably best to wait another 6 months...at the end of the day you can apply for an increase at anytime, they will say either "yes" or "no"....

Funny that you say that, soon after I got my Barclaycard they sent me an email stating that I could apply for a limit increase after 3 months.

My barclaycard started at £400 then went to £800 and now its £2000. I have it now since May 2014. They also offered me a second card a Platinum one with a straight £5000 limit with a great BT offer!

This makes sense to me, i bet all of the people who get one in desperate straights will have maxed it out and missed a payment within 3 months, so at least they are reassured that you are not one of those?

I have just received my Barclaycard Platinum with a £1000 limit. The letter stated they'd look at increasing the limit after 3 months.
