Tiscali/Talk Talk

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you could help. Despite me pleading with her to consult me before agreeing any internet packages my dear old mum has signed up with Tiscali on a 12 month contract, she is paying I believe £23 a month, however trying to find her deal on the TalkTalk/Tiscali website is nigh on impossible. I wouldn't mind if she had an amazing internet speed but she says trying to watch Blue Bloods on Sky Go takes all evening to download. I pay less with o2 and I can watch it straight away.

After a quick search of the net I can see that Talk Talk suck at customer service and appear not to give crying duck once the ink has dried on the contract, so I accept she is bound to this deal till next Jan, I just want to find her package so I can check the specs.

Speed is irrelevant - it's entirely dictated by the length and quality of your line and also the technology in the local exchange.

Further any deals available now will be gone in 9 months. Forget aut t for now, then next December ask her o five 30 days notice of terminated, THEN start searching for alternatives.
