13 months to the day. Never took balance above £1,000 in any month and always paid in full.
Got £80-odd quid cashback from them for the last year this month too
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
Just look at "World Mastercard" they are trying to market as an exclusive product.
Visa fees are cheaper yes. You'll some banks get discounts to use Mastercards systems such as MBNA and sub prime lenders.
Like Visa Signature then?
Then it isn't as simple as "visa fees are cheaper" - if some banks are getting Mastercard discounts, presumably lower than they'd pay for Visa, then Visa's fees aren't cheaper in that scenario!0 -

Much like Visa Signature and Visa Infinite? Widely available abroad, not so much here, admittedly.
I have two "World Mastercards", NatWest Yourpoints and Capital One Aspire World, which give similar rewards to my Barclaycard Freedom and Nationwide Select respectively, both plain vanilla Visa cards.
Additionally, a retailer cannot pick and choose what type of Mastercard they accept - they cannot refuse to accept a World MC (if they accept MC at all that is) - but will be charged the higher interchange on that type of card.0 -
