Saving for my wedding!

Another month, more £ into the pile
I don't have as much overtime money this month so it's going to be challenging. We're close to reaching 10k (£500 to go between us), and if we achieve it this month we can then concentrate on the honeymoon, so this month's challenge is to do that :eek::eek::eek:
Let's what this space!

We have managed to reach 10k but after some updates to the wedding budget I think we need an extra £500 for "wiggle room". Which is doable by September, it just means we won't be able to put away as much spending money away this month. Hopefully we will have some money left over as I have (hopefully) over estimated quite a few things, so we'll see.
I am now very broke until pay day next Friday, and as there was no overtime going this month I won't be getting a particularly healthy wage either. Sigh.
I'm feeling the pinch big time this month! Not just for wedding savings but also for our regular bills/savings, we have a big bill next month that I've been saving for but could do without, to be honest
Anyway, onward and upward! Wedding invites should all be posted at the end of next week!!!!

Two pay-checks to go! :eek::eek::eek:
We sent our invites out last week so it's all systems go now. Another tight month money-wise, but I'm really looking forward to our honeymoon.
No treats this month, no nights out, no random "let's meet up and go for lunch" with friends. The odd coffee will need to do.
Life's exciting enough as it is though

An update: the wedding was fantastic and so was the honeymoon
We also have £ left over from our savings for the wedding, which is always nice.
Everything is paid off and we have no debt. I'm really proud of us! I have other financial targets but I'll need to start a new thread for that.
Best wishes,
