    Hi, thanks for all your support for Shopitize, and we apologise that we have been a bit slow on updating new offers lately. Taking all your inputs on board, we've been doing our best to address them in a major update that'll be released soon with significant updates including making expiry date and sorting by store much more prominent along with features that'll allow us to get more new offers for you more regularly.

    Will it be open to more mobiles brands soon??
    I was advised that the Sony Experia camera was no good for this and haven't tried since. Is that still the case??

    Anyone have any luck getting Shopitize to scan barcodes on a 4th Gen iPod touch?

    Since the iOS app offers significantly higher cashback than the Android app, I want to use my iPod to send receipts.

    Problem being is that it won't scan barcodes. The screen changes to the barcode reading screen, (camera with white square) but no matter how I line up the bar code, nothing will scan.

    I should add that on the iOS app, there's no scanning "red line" like there is on the Android app, or on other barcode reader apps I have on iOS.

    Just to reply to myself. It was the container that wasn't scanning using the iPod Touch. Specifically the Danio yogurt.

    This would scan fine using the Andriod app, but iOS was having none of it. This was over about three different containers (I really like that yogurt)

    I eventually used a barcode generator and typed in the numbers, and scanned the result with my iPod and it worked.

    May be daft to go through it all, but it's 25p back on iOS vs 10p back on Android (which confuses me as it is, but anyway...)

    Anyone else getting problems with Shoptize at the moment?
    I started to try and use it yesterday and so bought 8 items which I then tried to scan. But there is precious little guidance!
    There is nothing which says 'scan barcode' or 'scan receipt'!
    I tried and somehow got to scanning a receipt, but it said I had to scan a barcode first. Then I managed to get where it was ready to scan the barcode and lined it up and then got 'Shopitize has stopped'!
    Now all I ever get it is 'Shopitize has stopped' or 'Complete tasks to earn rewards'!
    Shoptize feedback are useless, having responded by asking what device I am using but now they have gone deaf!
    Any help would be appreciated, or I am going to lose a further £3.90 ontop of the 70p I lost yesteday!

    I probably should have added to my previous, saying that you had responded to me after a while. You apologised, saying that your Android app wasn't compatible with my Nexus 7 and you sent me a cheque for the amount of credit I would have obatined from the shopping I bought.
    I will look out for when your app may be compatable with my device.

    We are planning on testing the compatibility of some of the more high end HTC Desire devices with our app in the next couple of weeks to make the app more accessible on more devices.

  • Does anyone know, can I use Shopitize if I shop supermarkets via their online websites rather than instore?
