Organic Doorstep Delivery Service

I went down to the market a bit earlier yesterday morning and discovered there's lots more choice earlier on. I had been over at the camphill shop during the week and the fruit & veg looked a bit rank. I know they're not going to look like the stuff in tesco etc but some of it looked like it was about to crawl away! The market stuff was great, so fresh & tasty. It works out a bit dearer than the big stores but it's local produce, without packaging and it's good to try and support the market to ensure it keeps running. I love the atmosphere down in St George's very laid back and hippyish ;D
Now I just have to try and not think about which ones use bone and blood as fertilizers, who would have thought that veggies aren't always veggie! The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0 -
We used Helens Bay Organic Garden and I must say it was the worst fruit and veg that I ever saw in my life.Poor quality (either too green or too ripe) , terrible selection and massively overpriced.
delivered by a grumpy man who arrived at our door the following week with a delivery after we had cancelled our order.
We had a bad organic experience.0 -
Anyone get deliveries of Organic F & V, bread, eggs, milk etc (farm foods) to their door?
We did use Helens bay one a few years back but wondered where any others better value.
We live in the Newtownabbey area.

I was thinking about getting some sort of veggie basket delivered weekly to force me to cook more veg, so was just looking for somewhere. This place looks good:

I remeber seeing them on Rick Stein's local food heroes and also mentioned here in the Times:
