I found a delivery service for organic produce for anyone who is interested. Currently the service only appears to be available in Belfast (More's the pity!), but if you register interest it might expand in the future. Prices seem reasonable to me. Have a look and see what you think........

I have not been on for a while.

Found this very interesting but they don't deliver to North Down. Obviously anyone selling to the "upper" classes should deliver to North Down.

I looks very interesting! Is the food of good quality? Sometimes the organic food in the supermarket is a bit iffy I find - they stick the word 'organic' on the bag and shove some sad looking specimens in!
Thanks for the link - I eat a lot of fruit and veg and used to think I was great but I'm probably full of residual chemicals. I have kiddies now so maybe I'll get them onto organic foods until they're old enough to choose their own foods.

We have used this company for over a year now - we get milk and eggs from them and both these products are of excellent quality. They deliver in refrigerated vans so the stuff is nice and cool when you get it, and they deliver to our area on two nights per week. The shelf life of their milk and eggs is also excellent.
May be slightly more expensive than the supermarket, but well worth it!

Does anybody know of any good organic fruit & veg delivery services in Bangor/Holywood? I thought there was one at Helens Bay, but can't find the details.

anybody use this? https://www.helensbayorganicgardens.com not really a money saver im sure - but in theorie it looks great and saves you having to go get veg from the supermarket of a poop quality. Im out of their delivery zone at the mo (only seen the van when visiting my mum) but id so use it if i could.

Yes - I've been using them for about 3 years now - good quality veg - you know what a carrot should actually taste like - also you occasionally get something you might not buy - so probably helps us eat better variety of veg.
(also supply eggs & fruit) Give them a call - they'll probably let you try for a week or 2 - if not happy no need to re-order.
