    Well the day is here.

So what's the worst that can happen - i get lost - so what I have a sat nav and a voice i can use.

We're parking in the silver zone parking which I've already booked.

Have train tickets as I opted to have them delivered to my house.

Got gloves, hats, scarves, thermals, hand warmers etc packed.

So I just have to do it now.

I dont know if its too late but I just wanted to wish you a fantastic holiday. Everyone gets a bit scared about doing something new for the first time and I would feel the same way. Just take a deep breath and dont get flustered if there are any little hiccups along the way.

Oh and as others have said most people are actually really friendly and helpful if you smile and ask nicely so dont be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

Have a lovely lovely time! You are a brave and wonderful mother.

Take water or squash bottles into the park in a rucksack - there are fountains everywhere but drinks are a fortune to buy.

    relax!

    Thanks guys!!

Not leaving unitl about 3pm flight is at 6.45pm.

Had a lovely bath, just waiting for my mum to come as she's dog sitting, little ones to come home, going to give them a bath, some lunch, sort out their hand luggage and off we go(children not mum).

Do you think I'm gong to need salopets? (Sp?) checked the weather and it's gong to be between 8 and 15.

When you get to the hotel tonight have a big glass of wine and celebrate all you will have achieved today. Your children are very lucky to have a mum that arranges such a lovely treat for them. I am sure they will have a wonderful time and the memories you are building with them will stay with them and be cherished.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

Savvy_sue - with the directions I gave, the OP shouldn't encounter the roadworks. That is unless they come on either the old bridge or not turn onto the M49 from the M4.

OP - Have a good time in Disneyland.

Dangers has given the best advice with regards to getting to the airport...though I go a slightly different way(through wraxall onto backwell then up past the wood place along the back of the airport. but it is not signposted and likely to get the op lost!

Have a fantastic holiday op...you and the kids will love DLP. PS - do the big rides first, you wont queue quite as long that way :)
