Email from Plusnet offering new deal

Apologies if this post merely reveals my ignorance, and thanks for any help.
I've been a Plusnet broadband customer for a long time, and am pretty happy with them. Currently I pay GBP 11.45 per month for their "Extra" package, which gives up to 16 MB/s and a monthly limit of 60GB - which is more than I need.
I've just had an email from Plusnet offering a reduction to GBP 9.99 per month, with the same speed and "no usage limits - truly unlimited". This all seems fine, and I just wonder whether there's a hidden catch. (Could I find myself moved to a poorer contention rate, or something like that?)
Thanks in advance for any advice!

prob more like you are out of contract and they are trying to keep you and if look at there current pages https://www.plus.net/home-broadband/
you package has just gone unlimited as well also to bear in mind fibre to cabinet is kicking out atm and prices are getting lower which is a good thing, but the recession is also helping out a bit, only good thing it is doing.
ps also one thing bearing in mind is to pay line rental up front for a year as alot do this saving about £5 a month on that.0 -
The "catch" is that you will start a new minimum term of 12 months on the new product.0

No catch apart from the minimum contract length. The unlimited deal is really unlimited there no fair use and it runs at line speeds so very little traffic management.0

Many thanks for the swift and most helpful replies. I had indeed forgotten about the minimum contract length.
Since this isn't a big problem for me I'll go ahead and accept the new Plusnet terms.
Thanks again to those who gave such helpful replies.0
