Surely it wouldn't have made any difference.

You have to redeem the RSH LOYALTY points for a RSH money-off rail travel e-voucher, that appears in your RSH "travel" account about 24 hours later.

I did this about 2 weeks ago. The e-voucher (although I used it immediately) has (had) an expiry date of 31st December 2020

...so when the loyalty points expire is irrelevant if you transfer them into an e-voucher

Until reading this thread I didn't realise they wiped your points at the end of each year and so I 've quickly transferred mine into an e-voucher.
