Hi tatty ye it's me ... Quinoa simples to cook ... Put half a cup ( or there abouts) into a pan with a full cup of water, put it on to boil, boil until it swells an starts to seperate and the water has all but gone, take it off the heat and put a wee lid on the pan and leave it to sit for 5-10 mins so that the last of the water soaks in and voila you have quinoa :)

You can use it instead of rice, you can add it cold to salads etc ... It's a kinda multi use food tbh and good if your watching your protein intake as its one of the few non meat full proteins :)

You can also use it as shooting seeds if you are watching the crb intake :)

I think it will still be good to use for a wee while yet :)

Let me know if you need more info and how you get on

The taste is ok actually one of the better things I've tried ... It goes great in certain cakes etc as well ... It's kinda a universal type food really

Thanks for this El. I'll try it. I think I bought it coz it was yellow stickered. ;)
Just haven't got round to using it yet.

Croc chronicles is OK by me.

Dog ate one of the buttons that attaches the strap ... OK if I take said strap off (one strapless the other with strap). Just as well I have a collection, phew! (only 6 more pairs for her to munch).

I have some random letter gibbits if you want. Lots of Fs and Ss, they were going free and it seemed funny at the time :)

If you change the name, you may get peoples from Florida who like real crocs!

Reading Caitlin Moran's book - very good - the chapter on how Obama can throw away the presidency...

and I quote 'A photograph emerges of Obama wearing Crocs. Not even the white Crocs you could pretend you bought 'to clean the pool', but a bright green pair. Which, as the incriminating telephoto images reveal, Obama has subsequently customised with Jibbitz of cocker spaniels, four leaf clovers and a mooning garfield'.
