Its called the media effect - lies, damned lies, and news media.
Its what puts political parties into power, makes us a nation of xenophobes, hypes up our (near non-existent) security fears to bring about draconian oppressive intrusive legislation, convinces us EU is all bad and no good and tars all bankers with the same brush.The bankers stole my pension (and everyone else's). It should have earned a lot of money, but they took their bonus pot first.0
