dla contacting my gp

at the time i had a rather unsuportive consultant.
if i had appealed, the evidence ( none because he wouldnt write a report unless they paid him £500) would still have been virtually non existant.
even the reports he sent to my GP only said 'deterioration' and that was it!.
my GP on her own, wouldnt have been able to make a strong enough case for me as she could only go on what i was telling her.
ive changed hospitals now though so will have another try in april. if they turn me down then, i will appeal as i know my consultant is 'on my side'0 -
