Hi All
I just wondered if anyone has claimed compensation for the above flight?
I am a bit wary now as I have read some threads which say Virgin put unexpected technical difficulties down to extraordinary circumstances and do not pay out.
Are there any success stories where Virgin have paid out for "unexpected technical difficulties"?
I think Virgin's customer care is disgusting. My flight back from Vegas was delayed for nearly 23 hours. I did not claim for accom as our friends were staying longer and crashed with them. Unfortunately, I lost out on a whole days pay as I had no annual leave left. Obviously I spent money on refreshments etc in them 23 hours but decided not to claim for them. They tried fobbing me off with a cheque for £10. Absolute joke.
WILL NOT be flying with Virgin again, that's for sure!
