I have one quickie IN: L'Oreal extraordinary oil sachet 4ml

This was a magazine freebie, it took the best part of a week to use up. It felt nice and light and absorbed well compared to the serum that seems to stay on my hands only. WMB once I have used up my pantene ice shine serum (approx 3 years at this rate...).

Started using the Percy&Reed no oil hair oil this morning and loved it; I blow dry my hair on a large round brush and between the oil and a touch of hairspray my style has stayed beautiful all day.

UUs are a bit slow this month but I'm in the middle of a number of full size products. I'm trying to keep my various products in the forefront of my mind and go through them regularly in an attempt not to buy anything at all for the next three months. I'm trying to blast away at my credit card debt, and hope only to replace products as required rather than succumbing to temptation as I have the last few months.

Me too with the No Oil Oil. shampoo, condition, blow dry with (smaller) round brush, used oil, hairspray, no volume product, and it looks and feels great. Bought last one in local shop, wish I had bought another now!

Two TAs tonight. FKUC NP & Rimmel Serene HP. The FCUK one had leaked all over the other one, so both have gone in the bin.

    Nothing else doing.

Another IN and UU for me.

IN: Laura Geller Spackle. Has arrived already very pleased with the speed of delivery on this one from Ebay.

UU: Philosophy Candy Cane shower gel. Not sure I'd buy again. It was nice and left my skin very soft - didn't have to apply body lotion afterwards. Maybe if I see it again next year at 75% off I'll get one but suspect that I'll still be working my way through the shower gels I have now still by then. I opened this at Christmas and have only just finished it so not bad value even at full price. Am going to open a L'Occitane Verbena soap next although not sure if I will throw this out as the last one I opened had lost it's fragrance. Will see.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • UU Richard Ward root spray WNBA made my hair feel really dry even with PR No oil oil on as well.

UU Elemis Freshskin moisturiser WBA loved this even though I am a tad older than the specified for use age range this didnt bring me out in any spots and has made my skin lovely and soft and I love the scent which was lavender so quite calming.

8g Bare Minerals Original - Medium Beige (this has turned out to not be as dark as expected but if needs be I will mix it with some fair.

Hi, I bought this after seeing the deal on this thread - how do you open the pots to mix the colours? I've tried twisting them but I'm worried I'm going to break the pot!

Thanks in advance and sorry to go off-topic!

The new style lids don't come off so you will need to tip a bit of each colour into one lid and swirl your brush into it to mix them. The new lids are better for travel but not in any other respect as the old style ones came off and you could get all the product out. HTH

    Have an in

Avon Cherry Blossom Daily Hair Refresher - I use this on the days when I don't have time to wash my hair, it smells lovely and is very light feeling on my hair. I spritz it on then a quick blast with the hairdryer and a big brush and my hair is as good as new. I think a lot of you ladies use dry shampoo to get the same result but it just doesn't work on my fine hair.

Great news about your Spackle. I have never tried Philosophy, not even a little sniff!, it may well be the first thing I try when I have got through (my quite small now) shower gel and lotion mountain, not sure where I would start though, I like the idea of a clean fresh scent, but not anything spicy, I hate the smell of Cinnamon/Cookies etc.

Have been lurking the past week or so but not really had anything to post as not many UUs.

I have UU a couple of face masks that I got in as freebies in swaps but don't think I ever declared these as INs so won't count them.

I have had lots and lots of INs recently (mainly make up and nail varnish) which I haven't yet declared. I am trying to decide what to do about it. Like a few other people have said, I am unsure whether to include make up and nail varnish (although I have done previously). They are both things that I am not really trying to use up as I like having a lot of choice etc.

Have spent a lot recently as have become addicted to various online beauty blogs and swap groups

Can't remember who it was on here who got the Benefit World Famous Neutrals kits? I ordered the most glamourous nudes one on ASOS with a 25% discount code and was really excited about it. However, ASOS sent me the easiest nudes instead and now the glamourous nudes is out of stock. Undecided about whether to keep it and buy glamourous nudes elsewhere, or if to send back and just buy glamourous nudes elsewhere. Am swaying towards keeping the easiest nudes though because of the 25% off :rotfl:
