Hello all! Some UUs to declare.....
Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief Mouthwash (400ml) - WNBA, I bought a load of mouthwashes to try and this wasn't a favourite
Oral B Toothpaste 15ml (3D Version) - WNBA, didn't like the consistency
Tisserand Rejuvenating Shower & Bath Wash 175ml - WNBA, very underwhelming considering it was 'filled with essential oils', smelled like old Vosene shampoo and was the same colour!
Good idea! I don't have an HG for every category, for some things I'll just use what's on offer, but the ones I do have are listed below...
Day Cream - I have two, Olay Complete Care Day Lotion SPF30, it's lovely and light and I like a high SPF for day creams. Also The Body Shop Vitamin C SPF30 Lotion, it's thick but sinks in very well and makes your skin feel all fresh and zingy, also it smells of oranges!
Night Cream - Easy, Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, I don't use specific night creams as they're too heavy, this is perfect, it smells amazing and has done wonders for my skin during the harsh weather! Pricey but so worth it!
Toner - WAS Lush Breath of Fresh Air but I'm boycotting them now so I might try Liz Earle again!
Foundation - L'Oreal True Match powder, it always looks good on me, I love it!
Lip Balm - Cherry Coca-Cola Lip Balm, £1 from Primark. It's got enough colour to it to look like a lipstick with none of the fuss or dryness, also it tastes gorgeous!
Eyebrow Pencil - Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in Black Brown, it's only £2.99 and really good. Plus I have next to no choice as it seems like only No7 and Rimmel do black eyebrow pencils - why?!
Hairspray - TIGI Hard Head, holds like nothing on earth!
Body Lotion - Nivea Dry Skin Nourishing Lotion in the dark blue bottle - sinks in instantly and smells wonderful.
Dry Shampoo - Batiste, any of them except the horrid XXL volume one! Eurgh!
Hair Colour - L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss in Ebony Black, it's the most natural black colour I've ever found and is the closest I can get to my natural colour without going helmet hair black!
Hand Cream - Sanctuary is very good but if you have split skin or other problems then the absolute HG is Nelson's Calendula cream, I worked in a pet shop for a while and the skin was peeling off my hands, they were raw and painful. I tried all manner of creams but this is the only one that worked, my hands felt like new in days!
Body Scrub - Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub, the smell is amazing and it's a great scrub as well!
Shower Gel - S&G i-Foam, BRING IT BACK! The new 'reboot' is Foam Call and it is NOT as good! It still is good but i-Foam was a lot better!
Totally agree with the S&G i-Foam! I loved that stuff and bought loads of tubes of it! xxSeptember Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
1 UU to report
Body Shop Shimmering Coconut Body Butter - Nice and thick, very moisturising and the shimmer/glitter it leaves on the skin is pretty. The coconut scent is a bit overwhelming for me though!WBA but only if I was really in the mood to use something coconut scented.
Trying to use up a horrible Nivea primer at the moment, really not impressed with it.September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
Enjoying reading the HG lists, here is mine:
Shampoo & Conditioner - Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Seaweed, this makes my fine hair very light and bouncy.
Hair oil - Percy & Reed - Love, love, love this.
Hair serum type thing - Nicky Clarke Instant Calmer, really smooths down my hair for a nice finish.
Shower Gel - Crabtree & Evelyn La Source
Body Lotion - La Source again - the smell lingers all day
Body Butter - Gok Gorgeous - this applies like a dream.
Body Scrub - don't have a HG but do like some of the Body Shop ones.
Bubble Bath - No7, lovely, comforting fragrance.
Foundation - I love the Clarins Evermatte and Estee Lauder Invisible and also Avon Smooth Minerals.
Lipbalm - Carmex - does everything I want it to, but I still buy loads of others.
Eyeliner - Avon Supershock gel eyeliner - this doesn't budge, also No7 stay perfect, this is nice and natural.
Eyeshadow - Benefit Creaseless cream in RSVP or Birthday suit, these are amazing, gorgeous finish and don't budge.
Mascara - Clinique Naturally Glossy.
Eye makeup remover - Clinique take the day off - pricey but it shifts everything easily.
Night Cream - Clinique moisture surge, does the job with no greasy residue.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

A cuple of UU's and TA's
UU Balance Me Rose Otto Shower Gel. MBA like everything about it except the consistencey - too runny.
Lotil Daily Face and Body Moisturiser. WNBA (so old not sure if it is still available - does the job as a body lotion, but others I like better.
TA's a Clinique lippy that has gone a bit dry, cream blusher the same, both very old.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Two UU's.
Aquafresh's giant sized mouthwash of okay but not great. Will probably NBA.
The last tube of Molton Brown's disgusting airline bag toothpaste. WDNBA Ever.
I am now down to 8 toothpastes and am begining to see bathroom shelf space.
Thre Garnier sample sachets in. Though they are very small and very free.0 -
Thanks for everyones comments about my horrible visit to Boots. I haven't complained because I don't want to make a fuss as I didn't have the receipt and just wanted to do an exchange.
However it does make me wary of going back into that particular store.
I finally have a UU, well actually a TA - an Expert eye serum, going a bit yucky so it got the heave!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
Finished an Eve Lom facemask last night... WNBA... smelled very funky! Don't think it was off!0

I forgot to post my uu earlier on
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails - this is a translucent pink polish which can be used as base or top coat, this was very old and the last couple of mls had gone gloopy.
L'occitane Verbena soap - This was the size of a house brick which made it difficult to use for ages, particularly for children, it smelt nice and I would use again but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it.
BS Cranberry joy soap - nice enough.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
