Evening ladies,
Hope you are all managing to stay cosy and warm,
Have a couple of uu's to declare
Uu Mandara spa shower gel 'amber heaven'. This was quite nice to use, lathered up really well and the scent was pleasant enough, wba
Uu Fcuk body butter, no idea what the name of this was but the tub had a purple lid, this had a very thick consistency but went on really well with no stickiness, the scent was lovely too, wba
Happy pampering, xo0 -
Hi All,
Snowy here in North Wales and its kept it up all day!! Glad to be at home in the warm now and not having to venture back out, I could've done with going to the shops but I won't starve and its looks like a blizzard out there at the min!
One small UU for me - Garnier Moisture Match samples (counted as one IN and one UU) - Already got the Protect & Glow and this is still my favourite, Goodbye Dry is also very nice but I wasn't too keen on Wake Me Up as its gel consistency was a little bit sticky and my makeup didn't go on as well as with the other two. All in all great products for the price and a good range for various different skin types, think they're onto a winner with these.
Poor OH is working til 10pm and potentially out and about, feel bad that he's cold and wet while I'm now toasty in my dressing gown! Deliberating between a House marathon or the final season of Six Feet Under from the sofa with blanket and glass/bottle of wine in reach:D:D
Have a great weekend all0 -

Am@zon has a Lily and Apple Blossom Floriography hand cream for £7.95, so they are a real bargain. They are paraben and SLS free too.
The boxes are beautiful - Art Deco-ish - a lovely, expensive looking stocking filler for a quid.
Thank you for this And, going to look for these tomorrow seen as we have a shiny new PL, they're £10.95 each on Not On The High St. I agree the packaging is beautiful, exciting! One for a fairly guilt free treat I think and a couple to stash for presents if we've got them here :T0 -
I have 2 UU to report
Dove Creme Mousse Body Wash Brightening - Really nice, very creamy, pleasant clean smell, interesting(in a good way) texture. WBA
Dove Intensive Hair Mask - Made my hair feel soft and nourished - WBA
And I have a little IN to report!
Original Source Spearmint Shower Gel for men - This smells amaaazing, can't wait to use! Only cost £1 too!September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
If you don't like then is it maybe worthwhile dropping them into your local women's shelter or a charity shop.
I hate for items to be thrown away when someone else could make use of it.
I sound so ungrateful I just have a lot of stuff already which I prefer.
I live in a small town and have no local womens shelter, our charity shops have huge bins that are full of donations that have been put out for the rubbish so I think thats where they will end up which would be a shame.
The bath salts will get used as although I dont rate them my daughter likes the sprinkling and the body lotions can be repurposed as footcreams so all is not lost.
Will donate something else from my stash to the school fundraising fayre as raffle prizes to balance things out a little.:)No more buying toiletries0 -
Please excuse my ignorance but do balm cleansers melt and apply like oils? Are they suitable for all skin types?
Have heard great things about the emma hardie has anyone tried the elemis one yet.
I hadnt tried Elemis before and got a few items for mothers day and am currently using the tri enzyme wash and apricot toner with the PCMC at night and am loving them. They havent irritated my temperamental skin (which touch wood seems to be having a calm phase at the moment) and they smell good. I know the fragrance shouldnt matter but after sampling some Ren products recently that made me gag its become importantNo more buying toiletries0 -

Scantuary hand cream - WMBA like the texture and scent, rubs in well but doesn't seem to have the moisturing effects of other hand creams. (Unless my hands are a lot drier than they feel!)No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries: July stash 72/0 INS/2 UU/0 TA0 -
I am preparing to take stock in order to join in April! I am on a serious mission to minimalise my stuff- live in a small flat and the amount of stuff that one person owns is actually embarrassing!
Why is boots like my place of worship?
Where are advantage card points like my drug?
IT's mainly body moisturisers I have lots of as I always struggle to get into a routine of moisturising every day yet still buy lots of new ones/ nicely fragranced ones as I think this will encourage me to moisturise more![STRIKE]7lbs to lose [/STRIKE]
