another UU for me bit of pampering last night and 1 less avon face mask, was ok skin feels a bit softer. everything is being used up slowley but surely;-) not so many this month as Ive opened a few new full size products.

I have a very very very cheap perfume that im using more as a body spray. I'm using it every morning but I know after 5 minutes there is no scent left.....I cant decide whether to give in and throw it away or continue for the sake of not wasting it?? was contemplating putting it the bathroom as airfreshner but tbh i dont think it would even work as that!???

:j:j:j Well done! I think it will be years beforeI'll be able to say the same!

Not gonna lie sunshineyday - it feels like freedom. Never again will I fall into this mindset again. Over 3 years of not buying anything else from the S& G range and one gift from 18 months ago....:D

Another UU nail polish remover - WBA and will do so this week. Also PMON Nails Inc Charlotte Street.

I am typing this from my nice hotel room in Cardiff. Got a week off my work and decided I needed a break away to refresh after my last few rough weeks at work. Got in yesterday and having a lovely time. Also just seen on twitter that Sherlock has started filming today in Cardiff so I will be keeping my eyes peeled for a certain Mr Cumberbatch ;).

I tried the scrub today, but wasn't really blown away by it. It left my skin a little happier than usual, but maybe not enough to make me want to buy it again at full price. This one should only be used 1-2 times a week tops, and I won't complain given I pretty much got it for free! But then my skin looks really tired in general right now, so anything I use has a big battle on it's hands!

    Thank you!

I use this one all the time

TBH I have tried the more expensive ones and I don't rate them, certainly not above these ones anyhow! I've been a fan of the 'complete' Olay range for years, I love the stuff, it's lovely and light and does the job :T

It's in a pink tub, looks whipped so probably the same one :) got quite a few body butters on the go so won't be using it all the time

Had a horrible time in Boots earlier was trying to exchange an item and the SA and pharmacist where awful - rude and aggressive, I ended up walking out

If you've not already done so, I'd definitely complain! If you don't feel comfortable doing it in store then email or phone customer services. I'm lucky as the staff in my local store have always been lovely and I've never had a problem with refunds etc even where I've not had the receipt. As a company Boots do genuinely seem concerned as to the customer experience - I quite often get those questionnaires come off at the till. You never know you might even get some vouchers as a good will gesture :p

I had a similar thing with my bank on the phone the other day, I'd inexplicably forgotten my pin number and put it in incorrectly three times so needed to order a new one. The guy on the phone was so rude, interrupting me when I was talking and talking down to me and then wanting to go on and interrogate me about did I have any credit cards, loans etc. Told him how rude I thought he'd been and that I wasn't inclined to give the bank any more business and he still carried on, so it was a curt goodbye and down the phone went! Its an unfortunate state of affairs that good customer services and manners don't seem to come as standard any more and its quite often the reverse!

I don't think I overdid the S&G to the extent that some people did, I have used it off and on for a couple of years and still really like the scent. I have a Clean on Me, a scrub and a body lotion on the go at the moment and enjoy using them.

Had a NPI in Tesco last night, I was looking for the Kleenex face wipe/tissue thingys to see if they were on offer (they didn't have any at all) and I saw a new OS shower gel in Orange and Cinnamon, I love winter scents although I did think this was an odd time to be selling it, I didn't buy it though.

Home Bargains and Savers had then Kleenex range in during the week. HB was cheaper with the facial cloths selling for 69p. I bought then to try instead of cotton wool and have really taken to them. The also had in the facial wipes and eye make up remover wipes too.

I've been AWOL as my mum has been up to visit us for awhile which was lovely and she surprised me with a little trip to the spa where I had an amazing Elemis aromastone oil therapy thingy and omg I was so relaxed after! It's expensive but soooo worth it, I am now considering selling everything not nailed down to fund a trip to have one once a month!!

And she sneakily bought me a 15ml pot of the PCMC and oxygen something or other night cream. I know a lot of you rave about it and they were on my to try list so really happy to get to try them. But I then caved and ordered some of that fragipani (sp?) oil from time to spa. And it worked out cheaper to get a kit with more PCMC and those bliss capsule thingy etc in.........so big whoops but I do have my LE superskin moisturiser stashed which as it's new and unopened I could sell on ebay and I do have some other bits to put on Ebay actually so hopefully I can try and make up for it.

Which reminds me, how is best to sell make up/skincare on Ebay just put it on a BIN for the price you want or risk it and start it at 99p and hope you end up getting a good amount?

    A few UUs too
Boots cracked heel repair, liked this as it was really softening on my feet but only used it at night time as it was a little greasy WBA probably if it was on offer or something and ofc my foot cream stash was depleated, am now onto l'occi foot cream, not sure I dig the smell but its only a mini tube and as long as it works.

Bumble and Bumble mending conditioner, it was lovely but was too expensive to be an everyday kind of thing. If I see a deal on it then I WBA.

I was thinking as well it might be interesting if we listed our HG items as I know the odd one gets mentioned every now and then but it would be nice to see them all in one place. So our HG shampoo, conditioner, cleanser, toner, moisturiser, make up items etc or whatever is a must have for each of us. x

    Two more UUs to declare:

Alberto Balsam Raspberry Condtioner. WBA, like the way it leaves my hair feels, so good value for money

Soap and Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream. Would use again but wouldn't be in a rush to buy it, never seem to have time to use it. Probably would only get it if it was part of a set.

I must say though the shelves in my bathroom are starting to look a little bare. I'm really noticing a difference and I still haven't bought anything since Christmas.... finding plenty of other things to spend money on though.
