I am back in again! Thanks for starting us off.

    I have 2 sample UUs;

Givency Dahlia Noir - WNB its not really me.
Max Factor True Match- WBA really liked this and I have been looking for a replacement foundation. Great coverage but still felt light on my face. I will be buying this.

So February totals are 18 UU's and 7 INs costing £17.22. Slightly over my £15 a month budget but not too bad.

I've been lurking for a while now, but I'm thinking I might become a bit more active in this challenge. I've had a recent splurge of toiletries, despite 'banning' myself until March. Mostly it's because I've switched to sulfate free, but that has revved up the price of everything I've bought.

I know what I have, and I know that I don't need anything for a few months at least, so I thought that perhaps thinking of myself as being in a challenge would help change my attitude.

Can I join please? Although 3 pages on the first day?? Not sure ill be able to keep up! I don't need anything and need to save for my holidays. But hoping I can use this as a check in to be reminding me to pamper myself and encouraging me to do so. I have two jobs so always tired and feel I have let things 'slip' a little.

Little things like I don't bother with make up. I wear a tinted moisturiser and even a little slick makes me feel much better. I never seem to have the 'pulled together' look more the pulled through hedge as always running from one place to another.

So going to use this to remind me of little things like moisturiser after shower etc....

    Hope this is ok? :)
  • I'm in again, though I have to do another stock take. My list seems to be shrinking but I can't see the drawer getting any emptier:eek:

    Welcome to all the newbies.

I did notice this morning that there is a free hand cream with marie claire this month and I love hand creams.

I saw that too when I was in ASDA the other day but as it's Neals Yard and a) I've never been particularly impressed by any of their products that I've tried and b) dont really need any more hand cream considering I picked up quite a few from L'Occitane last month I'm not going to bother. Was annoyed to see that someone had stolen the hand cream from one of the mags that was on display though.

Talking of supermarkets though I did pick up another Lulu Guinness shopper from Sainsbury's last night and am planning to go back today and get the third and last one. How sad am I? Well, I may never ever get a proper Lulu bag so why not? And it's for a good cause.

ok so you won't want to hear this!!!!Clinique bonus time at john Lewis from 21st Feb(only just got this and did not notice when there yesterday!) to 9th March so just over a week to be naughty:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I def won't be buying as really do not need any of the items
1 in sample of Loreal extraordinary oil

Will hopefully not get near a JL store to be swayed by this offer cos that GWP blush and lipstick look lovely. We usually go to the Trafford Centre on Thursday nights (we call it date night) when Emma is at karate however MrM was working away this Thursday just gone and is probably away next Thursday as well. There's something about the Clinique packaging (it looks so clean IYKWIM) that draws me in but truth be told I haven't got on with much of their skincare although I'm using the eye gel that was a mag freebie some time ago and love it. I also love their Lash Power mascara but don't need any of this as I have a LE one in my stash that I'll use next. I do need JL though as Emma is out of LE C&P and I'm determined that I'm not paying more for it by ordering online. She can use my cleanser for now though so I MUST STAY AWAY FROM JL.

I'm awaiting another sample of the Extraordinary oil at the mo too. I had my hair cut last night so feel human again but my hair's feeling lank at the moment Must dig out my Aussie hair mask and give it a pamper.

I also need to not spend anything this month (and will try to do without Spackle) as I've splurged on some concert tickets. Have got tickets to see Jack Whitehall next March and to see Bruno Mars (which I am really excited about) in October.

Two UUs to report already though:-

30ml pot of Elemis PCMC. HG product. I did have 6 jars as MrM helps me stockpile this. It used to be that 30ml would last me 3 months but my skin's getting a little drier so it looks like it will now last me 2 months instead. Should have a year's supply then so happy that I don't have to repurchase. Especially as Elemis have another TSV on QVC tomorrow containing PCMC.

50ml tube of OPI Avoplex hand cream. WBA although not for a long time I'm sure. I have hand lotions/creams in my stash to use first. I do tend to have a few open at once. I have a 300ml bottle of Elemis Lime and Ginger hand lotion on my desk at work though this is now turned upside down and I'm planning to bring it home and cut it open for use as a body cream here. I then have another 300ml Elemis Nourishing hand lotion open downstairs and a Champneys Citrus Burst open in the bathroom. Will take a tube of L'Occitane into work with me to replace the Elemis one on my desk I think.

Have just repainted my nails as well and am wearing OPI Germanicure by OPI. Repainted my toe nails during the week and made an awful job of them but hey ho. Am wearing OPI I'm not really a Waitress with Stay the Night on my big toe nails.

Am going to go and take stock of how I did in February and then will post back here. No plans for today other than grocery shopping.

OK. So I've now counted my INs/OUTs for Feb:-

I managed to avoid buying 3 QVC TSVs from Leighton Denny (much prefer OPI so wouldn't have bought anyway, really), L'occitane (as the free hand cream offer and discount enabled me to buy what I really wanted instore) and Laura Geller (was wavering, procrastinated too much and it sold out).

INS: 5 bought by me : Hair colorant, cotton wool pads x 2 packs (needed), Smashbox eyeliner (treated myself), Decleor Herbal Clay mask (was a planned repurchase and couldn't resist special offer)

INS: gifts/freebies 21: 2 x Elemis kits containing 6 items each, Set of 5 x Smashbox lipglosses, OPI base coat, top coat and Skyfall, sample of L'oreal Extraordinary Oil

OUTs: 16 - ok, this doesn't outweigh the INs but with the exception of the Laura Geller Spackle I don't need to replace any of the items I used up as I have them in my stash already. Think I'm going to keep an eye on Ebay and try and get this as cheaply as possible but otherwise make March a no spend for me.

Forgot to mention in earlier post I went to Boots yesterday and got some foundation for Emma. Paid with my AP so still a no spend.

    Morning all. Welcome newbies.

Have 3 uu to report already - yay

Eucerin toner - can't remember the very long name of this but it was OK and I WMBA.

L'oreal gentle eye make up remover - just one of these in the stash now, I probably WNBA after this as it can't get my eye makeup off when I wear UD primer, otherwise it is very good and gets just about everything off.

Sure compressed deo in Cotton - this was for the Bzz trial but it didn't last as long as a full size can, I normally get a month out of a 150ml can and this didn't last a month.

Darn QVC - there's an OPI TSV coming up on 15 March. Thankfully, that's a work day. x
