No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in March

Fingers crossed for your selling Rosemary. Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this already but if you are on Facebook you could try selling some bits on there? A friend of mine set up a jewellery page on there and is doing really well with selling things.
I am planning on purchasing the Effacler duo today dolly. How do you find it? I have heard good things.
2 UU from last night:
29. BS Nutriganics Foaming Facial Wash 60ml - WBA and already have another in the stash. I like this as it feels gentle on my skin.
30. Clinique Super rescue antioxidant night moisturiser 15ml - WNBA, was a GWP a long time ago! Didn't dislike it but didn't find it particularly beneficial. Might be because it was so old though and only a small sample.
Lots of splutterers too at the moment!
I find the Effacler Duo really nice, it doesn't leave my combination skin tight at all which a lot of products for problem skin do and it works well at clearing congested areas. I do use it as a treatment for a period of time though rather than an everyday moisturiser, so I may use for a month, once a day and then go back to a regular day cream.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Another two UU - a tester pot sized L'Oreal Revitalift 10 Total Repair cream. This came in a gift set my sister got my for Christmas. WMBA - it was nice enough but didn't do anything fantastic. Think I prefer my Boots Essentials cucumber moisturiser too, and so much cheaper!
The second was 17 Photo Flawless skin primer. WBA, this had a nice consistency and smoothed on my skin nicely.
TA one item - Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer. WNBA. This felt strange on my skin, and left a 'bitty' finish so make up didn't go on at all nicely afterwards!
I did buy a primer a couple of weeks ago from Boyes of all places. Was about £2.00 and it's lovely! Huge tube too so will last me ages, and goes on really nicely.0 -
I'm not sure where to start so shall list my unopened (in stash) in Purple (the black I used was a bit much). UU struck through.

I now need to stop buying beads as sadly not yet sold anything on folksy or etsy....hardly suprising as soooooo much stuff on
doing another coffee morning this month and will take a few bits along with my flower arrangements and hope to sell some, maybe th eproblem is making things I would love to wear rather than knowing what pother people would like:rotfl:
I used to make earrings for like 12p each and sell them for a pound. Make loads put em in a box with a big sign on and they will sell like hotcakes! And makes people look at your other items and spend more(not to mention using up spare beads). Craft fayres are best by the way.
Sorry guys for going off track!! And i still dont have anything to report! No uus no ins :rotfl:May Grocery Challenge : 64.81 so far

I have bought it! Looking forward to using later. Thanks for the tips - I think I will do the same, see if it clears up my skin a bit and then go back to normal moisturiser.0 -
kiplingmonkey, that sock monkey is great! am i ok to pm you for the instructions?

Of course - hope you enjoy making them - I finished no 44 yesterday and still have people wanting to buy them...
Back OT have finally seen the back of a LHJ which has been in use for what must be nearly a decade!
Molton Brown Thai Vert handcream - this has been in the kitchen for ages and dates back to when the Q used to sell MB. WNBA as I found it a bit thin - L'Occ handcreams are always my handcream of choice now. This was a 300ml size - still have a couple of 100ml MB handcreams to finish off. Still, the fact that it has now become a UU is what I would call a bugle moment...

An IN but not unnecessary, so no guilt. Aldi Lacura's Multi Intensive Serum, 50 ml. It dawned on me that somehow I'd stopped using a serum, and at £3.49 a pop on this one, which beat Protect & Perfect in blind tests, there is no excuse. I did manage to resist all the other Lacura items.
The £1 hair dyes seem to have disappeared from both pound shops and Wilko's. Oh well. Given that all the other Aldi beauty products are so good, I'll be using their dyes in future - their medium brown looked just the thing. It was under £3 iirc.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
