had to go to the docs yesterday to do a medication review so when she said her usual "what seems to be the trouble?" I said nothing I feel very well!...have always wanted to say that to a doc:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:anyway it is not just toiletries that are discontinued....my psoriasis cream has been stopped so now they only make ointment which is so messy esp under clothes and on sheets, the alternative gel comes in a hard plastic containor so if you also have arthritus (common with psoriasis) it is very hard to squeeze any out :(:(:(:( and only comes in a tiny pack.and the bath emolient has also been stopped:(:(:(:(:(

also on my flower arranging site they have stopped the oasis I use and it is 50% more on another site:mad::mad::mad:

Dh woke at 4 today:mad:said it is my fault for giving him "orange" food as the same thing happenned last time (Waitrose sweet and sour chicken which I love as a treat when have no time to cook)well he is getting orange again today but he should not complain as it is salmon:rotfl:
grass is white at the moment but forecast is for 13 degs so may get out in the garden

rosemary, a lady I used to work with suffered with psoriasis and found that the Aloe Vera gel from Holland & Barratt really helped her condition. You may have tried this already but worth a go if you haven't.

The orange food comment made me laugh.

    Morning.

    Welcome newbies.

Valm - I believe IKEA have withdrawn their meatballs as they contained horsemeat and the hotdogs. It makes me wonder just how much we have eaten without knowing.,

    Now I feel sick.
VALM - thanks for the welcome back. Last month passed in a blur as all my waking moments were spent helping DD1 make sock monkeys for her enterprise stall at school. It was time well spent tho as her group raised £192 for Breast Cancer Uk. For some light relief, here are some that rolled off the production line...

Those sock monkeys are fab. Aren't you clever?

One more UU: Dove hair conditioner. Have another in the stash I think.

Have a good day everyone. xx
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    UU

Alpha H microcleanse mini WBA I like the scrubbiness of this product

TBS cranberry bubble bath WNBA but have some more in my stash that I bought in the sale in 2011 - had to use lots for any bubbles.

Lush so white bath ballistic - happy to use again but not my favourite of lush bombs (1 think I like the water to be coloured!)

Colgate toothpaste - WBA but no need as took advantage of the 39p a tube deal at Home Bargains so have a few left.

I am currently waiting for the latest Beauty bible stuff to test and its made me realise just how long stuff lasts and why I really don't need to buy anything for a long long time.I am still using the stuff from the last box which i think came in october also a massive bottle of toner I bought on some offer is still going strong and I am fed up with it:(Am going to start using Occitan( ? angelica range) that also bought early last year.
I now need to stop buying beads as sadly not yet sold anything on folksy or etsy....hardly suprising as soooooo much stuff on there!

doing another coffee morning this month and will take a few bits along with my flower arrangements and hope to sell some, maybe th eproblem is making things I would love to wear rather than knowing what pother people would like:rotfl:
  • Woo hoo, finished another tube of S&G Hand Food! Only one more to go. I swear this stuff was breeding in my stash.

    Love those sock monkeys kiplingmonkey!

    Have a uu

Avene Cleanance K - WBA, I really liked this, light but still moisturising enough for me. Am moving onto a half used tube of Oilatum Natural Repair cream for a little while then will start using my La Roche Effacler duo again, I just think my skin needs a little rest from the exfoliating type moisturisers for a while.

Also have 10 outs - sold on ebay

Estee Lauder Advanced night repair - have tried before and saw no benefit from it.

    Dermalogica skin smoothing cream
    Dermaloigica special cleansing gel
    Caudalie vinexpert day cream
    Estee Lauder lipstick
    Clinique mascara
    Clinique superbalm
    Benefit posietint
    Ren eye gel
    Clarins multi active night cream

Apart from the lipstick these were all gwp sizes.

Could say that and I have found more items another 25ish (only 7 lush). My house is breeding but it does smell nice.
I am going to sort some stuff to go to a charity, I have lots of unopened things and my sister will take them a charity local to her that are always after bodycare items. In my defence I do not have a make up or nail varnish stash. I do have a big problem.

It does feel a bit overwhelming at the start but if you get into a routine of using things you will soon see some progress. I feel very satisfied everytime I rinse out another bottle for the recycling.

I LOVE L'Occitane's Angelica range, got the tester set last summer on the advice of the sales girl and it does wonders with my skin. A big thumbs up from me :)

No INs from me! I've had a good start to the month with the following UUs last weekend:
    - T&G Straight & Protect Shampoo - WNBA. Smelt really odd from the first opening and while it was ok on my hair, the pump action nozzles got very annoying (I took it off in the end). Not worth the pricetag, cheaper shampoos work better on me.
    - 2 bath fizzes (from a box of 8 I got 2 years ago when I went on maternity leave). Don't know what brand, something cheap! WNB even if I could as although the smell was ok, there was no bubbles, and I like bubbles in a bubble bath :)
    - L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Creme - I'm gutted this has run out as it's amazing! I only had the small pot from the starter kit and a full size one is £30! So will buy again eventually but I have loads of moisturisers to get through first, which is a pity as this is great.
    - Montague Jeunesse Glacial clay mask - this was a freebie. I didn't realise it was an actual mask with the holes cut through! Didn't seem to fit my face well, must be made for someone with a much longer and wider face than me! :D But seemed ok.

Sorry I've not been keeping up, things busy as usual here but hope everyone is doing well. moneyless mac hope your DD feels better soon, horrible when the little ones are ill :(kiplingmonkey loving the sock monkeys! Wish I had time to make them, I think they're ace!

About the IKEA meatballs - my sister loves them (or did!) and a few days before the news we were at IKEA and she bought a couple of packs as they were on a special offer. The cynical part of me thinks IKEA already knew and were trying to get rid of as many packs as possible before the news broke...

Fingers crossed for your selling Rosemary. Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this already but if you are on Facebook you could try selling some bits on there? A friend of mine set up a jewellery page on there and is doing really well with selling things.

I am planning on purchasing the Effacler duo today dolly. How do you find it? I have heard good things.

    2 UU from last night:

    29. TBS Nutriganics Foaming Facial Wash 60ml - WBA and already have another in the stash. I like this as it feels gentle on my skin.

    30. Clinique Super rescue antioxidant night moisturiser 15ml - WNBA, was a GWP a long time ago! Didn't dislike it but didn't find it particularly beneficial. Might be because it was so old though and only a small sample.

Lots of splutterers too at the moment!

2 TA's today - a huge pot of diprobase that I found at the back of the bathroom cupboard and seems to have gone off a long time ago!
And one of those plastic things that you get with razors that you use to stick them to the shower
