O2 already offer a femtocell boostbox (ala Vodafone Suresignal) which connects to your router for 3G coverage...however at present its for business users only. I would have thought that eventually it would be available to residential users as well but now not so sure after the launch of this app

Where you can use UMA not a wifi calling app for decent quality, now the difference between both is one is wifi, one is wifi dependent hardware.
One would guess the settings cover both? BlackBerry can be programmed the UMA settings, Google Orange SignalBoost settings... Then find o2 settingsSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
It seems one advantage of TU is free calls to UK mobiles when abroad. A ten minute call on Skype costs £1.78. With TU you pay nothing but 10 minutes is deducted from your monthly call allowance.0

UMA works seamlessly though. Lived for 10 months in a valley with no signal of any description bar Sky & a phone line and could use my blackberry as a mobile as normal whilst my husbands iPhone sat doing nothing except emails

Tu Go still feels quite clunky. There's annoyances - e.g. when you get an SMS the tugo app beeps, then the regular SMS app beeps. Also, when you're making a 'Tu Go' call, once the screen goes black, and you try to get back to it, the call 'vanishes' and you need to go back to the dial-pad to find it. Android can be far clever than that, and they need to make use of it0 -
I've made a few calls back to the UK from abroad using Tu Go and have been surprised at how good the sound quality is. It seems to work better than Skype but I'm not sure why.0

Oh well added to my wish list until they update the app.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0
