  • Hello everyone - just bobbing in so hugs to all who need them! Brightblue sunny skies here but it was frosty this morning and the bird's water was frozen.... Took my Nytol last night and once I'd got over a panic attack I went to sleep about 2-ish and slept through until 7.30 when OH woke me up with his clattering around in the kitchen.... So I may have found a way of getting to sleep. Going to try it again to see if I can get a full night tonight or whether it was just coincidence. Got my Student Loan deferrment through the post - "if you earn less than £2,650 per month"..... Blimey, at the moment I don't even earn the £650.....I think I qualify.... Right back to work as actually got a bit today! Yay! I'll pop back in later - plans for this evening are to have a jacket pot with cottage cheese for dinner and a full oven of cakes (cherry, lemon and apple). OH will be delighted....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Lovely day and the washing is blowing on the line :D

We went shopping this morning and Aldi hadn't had their delivery, so no milk, no eggs, no chicken portions, this is happening much too often for my liking and I don't like the fact that Coca Cola, Kellogs and Cadbury have wheedled their way in, which means less room for more affordable Aldi brands  DH says that he will go back tomorrow, while I am at the clinic.

Lou you should see the doctor it sounds like you have PND, you are not a crap Mum, you love your boys and that is not crap in any way, shape or form.

I hope that NPM is ok, she hasn't posted for a couple of days.

Oh well off to get the weetabix and banana cake out of the oven

    Afternoon all:j:j

The Sun's out here:j:j and Its warm too:j:j

On the down side, i don't feel well at all today, I had to go and have a lay down earlier this morning, i do feel better than before the lay down, But I don't feel right at all. I'm going to see how I go. But I'm thinking of trying to get into the Doctors tomorrow.

Still the Suns out and It's quite warm here. I have the back door open and there some lovely fresh air coming into the house.

I might take my Book out and Sit In the garden for half an hour In a bit.
Might as well enjoy the sun while we have it.

    enjoy your afternoon everyone

  • Banana weetabix cake
    4 crushed weetabix
    2 mashed ripe bananas
    1 egg
    1 cup of sultanas
2 cups of SR flour (I used wholemeal SR, but white is just as good)
    1 cup milk

Mix all of these together, then add 1 cup of milk with the beaten egg
Stir well and pour into a greased loaf tin (I used a 7 inch round tin) bake at 160 Fan or 170 electric, gas 3
For about 45 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.

lovely with a cuppa or a little butter spread on it...Only if you are feeling naughty or a lean mean man machine ;):rotfl::p

I made this up using the original weetabix cake recipe as a guide because I can't have a lot of sugar because I am diabetic and I really had a craving for a treat last night, luckily the ripe bananas and sultanas sweeten it and as it has no fat it is better for you that way as well.
I used an ordinary small mug to measure things out

Halight that's quite a while you've been very much under the weather; I think you should make that Dr appointment, and see if they can't get to the bottom of what's going on. Go on, call them now and get an appointment.:o

Tina the amount of stress you've had recently, I don't wonder your bp is out of kilter. I didn't know marmite could affect it, though. Take care, mate.:o

Talking of doctors... I just went online to get my next meds review booked (also see about the results of the ultrasound I had Tuesday) and there are only two slots to see Dr F between now and 11th April:eek: - 08:30 and 08:40 on 5th April. I've grabbed the 08:30 one, and hopefully Mr LW can get the time off work to take me.
